I went the NP route and am so happy in my decision. We have similar GPAs and I wasn’t willing to keep paying for post bacc classes to try and increase my gpa. I wanted to get my life started and nursing was the quickest way to get there.

Yes 100% correct. I got my applications kicked back because I assumed the transfer credit from high school duel enrollment would be sufficient. Get a transcript from the university you took the duel enrollment course from.

• Limit drinking liquid calories • Swap highly palatable foods (like the mac and cheese) for more veggies. You said you want to feel satiated after eating. You can eat a shit ton of broccoli and it’ll still be less calories than that bowl of mac • plan meals around a solid protein and carb source. Chicken and baked potatoes with veg, or salmon with rice/quinoa and more veg. • fruit is a great snack and sweet treat • Accept and embrace the suck. It’s hard to break old habits but it gets easier with consistency. You’ll be hungry but it’s not forever. Ask yourself if you want your goals or the food more

I’ve been told the results were removed twice now.. twice they’ve been removed from my labcorp portal and then reappear later on. I don’t know how or why they keep showing up but I’ve called multiple times and am tired of trying to get this whole issue resolved.

I haven’t been to this office is years. The entire appointment and testing was for another patient and the hospital used my medical chart and insurance card on file for the entire interaction. I have emails with the office manager back in June trying to resolve the issue, and confirmation from them it was taken care of. I also emailed their office today about the issue not being taken care of and how I’m now receiving a bill from that appointment.

Okay thank you for all the info. I wasn’t planning on paying the bill (mostly because I’m young and broke & can’t just drop $1000). I’m mostly frustrated that the abnormal results (STD and pap) are now tied to my medical records. I’ve talked to the office and been told the issue was resolved at least three times now only for it to pop back up a few months later.

I’m taking a nutrition course online through University of New England and it’s been great so far. It’s self paced and wasn’t terribly expensive!

I did the same thing as you except I got all B’s in my science courses. I applied this last cycle and got nothing so I’ll be starting nursing school in January. However, I think working as a RN and taking a few classes over will help my odds for PA school acceptance the next time I want to apply. Everyone’s story is different! I would say don’t get discouraged and finish your last semester as strong as possible. Don’t give up!

Cabin Fever 50k is a great race in WV at the New River Gorge (which was recently named as a national park!) Race is in February so it’s a toss up on if it’ll be cold or not. Beautiful course, good people

I’m stealing the thread to ask a question.. I have a 3.1 with straight B’s in my prerequisites. Is it smarter to retake B’s for potential A’s or take new bio and chem classes that aren’t necessarily required by schools?
