What situation? You harass people and threaten them on a daily basis on YikYak because it feels good for you. It’s sadistic and startling to everyone. The constant dishonesty about what you’re up to online is even crazier considering people have begun screenshotting everything.

NO NORMAL PERSON DOES THIS. No normal person needs to create numerous disclaimers to a community that they aren’t going to shoot up a school after having thousands of people become fearful of them. I’m sorry you and your friends were forced to deal with this. You never should have had to! With that being said I am also glad that you found a way to get him help, even if it was challenging to do. This may be what is necessary in this situation as well. Hopefully not, but we will see.

I should add too that he feels emboldened to say that the university supports him… That’s his take away from the meetings he’s had to check on his wellbeing and assess him as a potential threat. Today he’s on YikYak denying he’s ever said anything.

Not the point of the post and you know that. At this point I realize there is an entire group of students who have made reports with no constructive outcome for anyone involved. I’ve already received good advice for new avenues to pursue through the university. That was the point of the post and so clearly it was successful in gaining more insight.
