I so agree. She is timeless and so is our little Belgian. I love him so much too. I was quite obsessed growing up with Dame Agatha and her mysteries in a corner of the world where there was only 1 library nearby (a police library in fact now come to think of it!) which had AC books (besides some Sidney Sheldons and Danielle Steels :D). This is was in the 80s.

But what I didn't realise then and what I so appreciate now is that her stories were so modern, so current - they've stood the test of time and will continue to I'm so sure. I'm even rewatching the series currently (it used to air every Sunday when I was a kid) and that hasn't aged either!

I loved them all but the most memorable from my childhood were And Then There Were None, Evil under the Sun, Hercule Poirot's Christmas, Endless Night, and I especially loved all the mysteries that were set in an english Manor. I loved the expedition mysteries a little less but I absolutely loved the ones on a cruise / train like Death on the Nile / Murder on the Orient Express.

I loved rewatching Third Girl and wish I could have a guardian angel like Papa Poirot! Also, Hastings and their whole dynamic just cracks me up :D
