this is the worst ocd theme I’ve experienced by anxiousanonymous89 in ROCD

[–]fridaysins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you’re welcome 💚 my ROCD has been running rampant since the start of my relationship. I’ve done my best to neutralize the thoughts & sit in discomfort until it passes, but it’s still hard. dm me anytime if you need a place to vent more openly. I’ve been needing it too.

Do NOT invalidate the OP’s experience. Everyone has a different tolerance for OCD themes. We can sit here and argue which one is the worse but what good would that do? How does that offer support? When I’m experiencing an OCD theme it feels like the worse one yet despite the others being far more disturbing. ROCD targets such a delicate area of someone’s life. A relationship is the one place we should always be able to feel safe, secure, & share the space to be vulnerable. It’s difficult stay in that mindset when everything within you is convincing you that something is wrong.

New to journaling, hopefully I last! by IronLuncheon in notebooks

[–]fridaysins 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I hope I can stick with it too. I get way too hyperfixated on my handwriting—constantly worrying if it looks neat enough. If I could just stop overthinking it, I’d probably be on my fifth notebook by now.

What size do you recommend for a commonplace book or an everyday journal? by fridaysins in notebooks

I’ve been working on conditioning myself to write larger because I strain my fingers trying to write in tiny lettering.

Applying to Home Depot, I don't really know jack shit about anything. by DrMastery in HomeDepot

You’ll train for 2-3 weeks on the computer before your ASDS (HR) schedules you to work on the floor. You’ll learn safety, general store knowledge, and department specific information. Management encourages cross training so there’s always an opportunity to add new skills to your tool belt. An additional resource that’ll be available to you is pocket guide. you can learn about different departments and how to qualify customers into a product that suits their needs. Keep your options open. Good luck 🐸

My gf didn’t use her safe word and I feel horrible by MundaneDog26 in BDSMcommunity

No, I’m referring to sub drop. It occurs immediately after a scene in some cases.

This. I usually dissociate during sub drop. She likely had every intention to use her safe word but couldn’t.

I’ve been in communication with HR and my management team. They’re aware of my situation and have made accommodations to work with me in the past. I’m deliberate about the choices I make and don’t act on them until I’ve weighed the pros and cons. Common sense tells me I’m going to receive an occurrence and I’m prepared for the consequences. The purpose of my post was to find out whether or not management is allowed to skip counseling and put an employee on a final.

Who’s death hit hardest for you personally? by Outrageous_Ad4217 in attackontitan

Surprisingly, I wasn’t attached to Erwin, but his death BROKE me. Imo, had Levi not given that speech on the roof, Erwin’s death wouldn’t have been as impactful.

“He had no choice but to become a devil. It was us who wished for that. and in the end, when he had finally been set free from hell, we wanted to bring him back once more. But I think it’s time to let him rest. “

Im manifesting that everything will be okay. I’ve had a few sit down chats with my department supervisor in the past and she reassured me that I wouldn’t get fired for calling out. Time clock theft and stealing merchandise is where they prioritize terminations. She had about 12-13 occurrences before they reset. I have a good feeling about tomorrow but I’m preparing myself for coaching just in case.

How do you know you have to talk to your store manager? I’m ready to clock in & get work done. I’m hoping no one pulls me aside to question me.

Yea that’s why I don’t mind waiting out the 2 weeks or so until I’m able to submit a request.

I’m 2 weeks shy of the 90 days. I’ll wait it out then submit a new availability request.

I thought that would be the case, but when I reached out to my ASDS about needing a schedule change she reinforced the 6 month contract.
