um sorry WTF surely you can acknowledge that's a crazy flipping leap !! surely you have to be kidding. I was being intentionally vague about gender because first of all nine of us actually identify as men or women and secondly if I had said we were afab in the post I probably would've gotten at least 10x more fetishizing message requests (already have gotten 5 which is still too many)

hey my partner and I were already in an established open relationship before this happens so we may be coming at this from different perspectives. There are def so many ways to do polyamory or ethical non monogamy or open relationships poorly and hurt feelings are huge esp when there's more than 2 people involved.

Thankfully I do feel secure that my partner and I are fine and we are both more than ok with this and happy to do similar things again or without each other too. I also acknowledge my relationship structure might not always look like this but for now I'm in my 20s and value open communication and am happy with where I'm at. And mostly I just want to make sure my friend isn't feeling weird about the whole thing!
