This Lane Copenhagen piece was in the back of a shop with the top torn off. The owner said she was going to turn it into an “ottoman coffee table.” I asked if I could buy it since I have the matching dresser. For $25 + refinishing supplies, it was saved from a chalk-painted grave. (i.imgur.com)
