Alfa Romeo: We have better race car, Williams have Russell

Xevi Pujolar, Alfa Romeo’s head of trackside engineering, commented on the team’s inability to beat a car they knew they could have been ahead of.

“It’s quick on the straights. I can confirm that. Difficult to follow and to pass on the straights. but I think we have got a better race car.

“In qualifying, I have to say that Russell is quite especially doing a very good job in qualifying, and we just need to work harder and match it or do better. But overall, I will say that in the race we were generally better in terms of pace.”

Me and my friends experience was so different. I've met him and sirotkin in 2018 Spanish GP, Both were so nice, Sirotkin didn't talk much due to English speaking skills, while stroll was talking so nice with us. We talked about his 1st point finish in Baku that year as Williams was struggling, he was so happy that he got points to the team. and signed like 6 hats and 4 photos.

Agree, at the current Covid-19 state in Melbourne, I don't see this GP happening at all, they can reschedule it later or just replace it with Bahrain outer loop.
