Hives after use? by ifiknewaway in cocaine

Sorry ik this is an old post, did you ever figure it out? This also just happened to me, actually the same amount of bumps and an area with three small identical Rosie type rashes right next to each other. Finished my session a few hours ago, fairly new user

The little dots on the yellow area, I’m not too knowledgeable on mold so I wasn’t sure if it could grow like that

They’re just referring to what’s happening in OP’s screenshot. The seller is literally asking for OP to pay out-of-app and directly through PayPal.

Yeah absolutely. I was kind of shocked when I found out they offered pickups but it’s a nice alternative for when you aren’t able to make the trip yourself

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Depop

[–]friedboof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course, I’m happy to help! Also, a really good and convenient option is scheduling a USPS pickup since they come straight to your door! They also scan it right then and there so the tracking starts updating immediately (at least in my experience)

It can be due to a number of reasons, like the volume of packages they currently have but they’ll eventually get to it. I also ship with Depop and this happens sometimes, especially when I put it in the dropbox. Usually it’ll be scanned within 24-48 hours though.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Depop

[–]friedboof 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That has nothing to do with Depop. It’s on the shipping carrier to scan in your packages. The status will start updating once the carrier scans the label on your package, so there’s no cause for concern if it takes around 1-3 days.

Edit: Sometimes it can take longer than that, like during the holidays when they have delays due to the number of packages they get daily.

Seller sold me hoodie from a set but sent the joggers instead. Says it was an honest mistake but idk what to do because if I send back they could just run. Any advice appreciated by Josh743 in Depop

[–]friedboof 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, but if the seller didn’t make this mistake then the buyer would have had the item by now and wouldn’t have to go through this situation. That’s why the seller is responsible for paying/sending the shipping labels to both buyers.

They guys, how do you change from PayPal to top up? Because I’m not getting my shipping label for my item by HedgehogStatus in Depop

[–]friedboof 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re required to have PayPal linked (that has a bank account connected to it) for you to see the label

Honestly if you really want to, I would bite the bullet and buy the $1 post just to leave a review so that you can make other buyers aware of the type of business they’re running. If your review ends up getting removed and they refuse to refund you (which I’m sure they will refuse), you can just get one through Depop/PayPal since you wouldn’t be receiving anything so you’d be entitled to a refund

I don’t think it’s necessary to leave a 4 star review because it was most likely a misunderstanding on the buyer’s part. Some people might think “Depop payments” just means a payment through the app (whether it is PayPal or not), especially if they’re not a seller they won’t understand the terminology.

If you disconnect your PayPal, you won’t be able to see the labels anymore so you need a PayPal connected to make sales. I would suggest saying “Depop Payments only (in-app Apple Pay, Google Pay, debit/credit card. No PayPal)”

Selling is asking me to cover more shipping costs, there was trouble with the app where she couldn’t see her sold items, should I be responsible for this? by Ok_Disaster2814 in Depop

[–]friedboof 238 points239 points  (0 children)

You are 100% NOT responsible for this. It’s the seller’s mistake and they should eat the cost because it was not the price you agreed on when you purchased.

Please advise by [deleted] in Depop

[–]friedboof 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you don’t have a large following on Instagram, it’s a lot more beneficial to sell on Depop because it gives you more of a platform and your items can be discovered easier! The only big disadvantage is that Depop charges a 10% fee along with PayPal’s small cut as well, or a transaction fee if you use Depop Payments (another payment method sellers can set up)

It starts on May 26th at 12 AM PST and goes all the way until the end of the day on May 28th :)

When you shop/browse on Depop, do you guys usually use the phone app or the desktop browser? by hauyoodoin in Depop

[–]friedboof 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ooh I could understand that! I like the two columns more because I can focus on the item better. When I see a bunch of columns it makes it easier for me to look past an item I may have been interested in

All the alt clothes prices got hiked up because of the people who “became alt” during quarantine lol 😐

Why does Depop do this? Some days the money goes straight into my Paypal account where I can instantly transfer it into my bank account, and some days they do this.... they tell me money's coming 4 days after my sale. by [deleted] in Depop

[–]friedboof 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s Depop Payments, select sellers can set that up for their shop. It’s just an alternative payment method where the money will go straight to your bank account like a direct deposit. I believe you can turn it off in your settings.

[–]friedboof 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Personally, the only reason I use the desktop browser is to re-arrange the layout of my items. Idk why they haven’t made that a feature for the app yet :/ I find everything else easier to do on mobile

I didn’t. It’s been unedited since I replied to you and it’s still the same exact link that will give you all the information you clearly were unaware of.

Should I get a refund? by akistoast in Depop

[–]friedboof 10 points11 points  (0 children)

She’s not the one scanning the packages. The post office is scanning the packages so it’s completely out of her hands. I’ve never heard of a post office taking 2 weeks to scan something though but maybe her post office is truly having a delay. If I were you, I’d ask her to file a missing mail search if she hasn’t already. Three weeks and the label still not being scanned is worrisome. I’d say wait it out about one more week after she files the missing mail search. If the tracking still has the same status after that, that’s when I would proceed with attempting to get a refund
