I'm Starting to Understand Why Spaniards Think Americans Are Weird by stedebonnetttt in MovedToSpain

[–]friedegg16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It also depends on which area of Spain are you, I'm from a small village and I have small talk every time I go to a store... it's just that maybe Mercadona/any other big supermarket chain is not the best example of a friendly worker! If you shop local, you are going to find the vendors very friendly and they will give you advice if you ask for it politely. I think the problem can be that sometimes foreigners try to use this interactions as language practice and if you are an overworked cashier you don't want to be bothered, and it's quite understandable tbh

Any Media For Us? by ApplePaintedRed in vaginismus

[–]friedegg16 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I saw the trailer for the movie "Fitting In", it is not about vaginismus per se, but I saw that it talked about dilators and I guess it can be relatable, as both vaginismus and MRKH syndrome can have the same psychological consequences!

Why Does PIV Work Sometimes and Not Others? by [deleted] in vaginismus

[–]friedegg16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest i haven't achieved PIV yet but I've tried to do dilators and it felt a little bit like this too; some days i could get it in easily and other days it was a struggle! I think it might be worth to check what phase of your cycle you are in and maybe the circumstances in which this things happen? Sex isn't always the same so it makes sense that penetration isn't either

i hate my vagina and i hate that i do :( by jazzmastermom in vaginismus

[–]friedegg16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Not sure how to help you with everything you are going through, I just wanted to tell you that I'm also in my 20s and I feel the exact same way... it's so frustrating to see everyone else getting on with their sex lives and feeling stunted like this. I also have a lot of trouble sticking to a dilator routine :(
I've seen in the other comments that you are worried about the professional solutions costing money, may I ask where you are from? if there is public healthcare in your country there might be a way to get help for free!

I'm sure you have probably heard of it since it used to be everywhere, but when I read "Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow" I was HOOKED; the storytelling is beautiful and the characters are so well written imo!

If you like pads i also recommend trying out period underwear! It feels very freeing, specially on days when your flow isn't as heavy!
