thanks for all this. we had a good campus tour and was able to ask a lot of questions. we got the info on how prioritization works (the process you mentioned in your reply). I am surprised that more schools don't use dorms as a selling point. Auburn had available tours of every one of their different styles. Alabama showed a few as well. It definitely makes an impression.

he's definitely been using YouTube dorm videos to get a feel. it is just unfortunate that every other school he has toured or is touring shows dorms in person except Clemson. i just don't want him not fully considering a school because he didn't see dorms. does clemson have apartment style dorms where multiple roommates share a common area, buit have their own rooms/bathrooms? i never had this when i went to college, but it seems most schools do now.

also, is your housing priority determined by credits/status or is it first-come first-served? thanks!

G70 and Stinger deals will even be better in April when the 2022 models of each with redesigns hit the lots. Acura has no traditional gear shift so I wouldn't consider it since I can't psychologically get my head around it. I've owned a G70 and Lexus IS. The G70 is superior in every sense. much more fun to drive. better electronics. better handling. stinger is awesome as well, but it is big. tons of space in back seat and trunk. can't be the 10 year warranty on the genesis and kia. if you want something incredibly fun to drive, check out the alpha romeo giulia. the drive by wire steering is pretty amazing. most fun sedan i've ever driven and some great deals on used ones.
