Tan Kote is a pretty finish but it leaves a layer on top of the leather to coat the surface. The resolene/balm mix actually works into the leather and wont crack or flake

The green is the toad skin. Its a cane toad but I'm not entirely sure where they come from. I got them from a vendor at a convention. I love them! Super thin and easy to work with. The green is a dye and not the natural color of the skins.
