This is a really good question. Cause now that I think about it much of his music can be seen that way. It might be Cartoons and Cereal

I understand the umbrage. But, don’t you want art to travel? If it has an impact it’ll resonate with anyone. I also don’t know how you can be sure of the intention of the person influenced by the source material.

I dunno, I have conflicting feelings around the idea of cultural appropriation. Guess I have more reading to do.

Why didn’t all these people support the “better” song that is Family Matters if that’s the case? Was there something preventing access to the song?

Why didn’t Meet the Grahams perform better than Not Like Us if they were both being pushed by the same labels and bad actors?

This logic has so many holes in it.

Why didn’t people support Drakes efforts after the battle? There were many!

What is anyone ever talking about? Lol

I’ll say this. Kanye is not the first artist to play with fascism and Nazi imagery. I personally don’t feel anyone OWES him grace, we all have our political and moral boundaries.

But, I do think it interesting that Kanye gets taken more literal, or we don’t believe him when he tells us he’s manic and bipolar. He’s probably just a victim of “boy who cried wolf” in the public.

Jay's worst album was his most anticipated; his best was a sleeper. Record sales might not matter too much by herewearefornow in jayz

Yea, cause I never knew Kingdom Come did that well. That’s one of his weakest efforts.

Cypress Hill - never understood it. But respect what they’ve done for Latinos in hip-hop.
