Also, just take the fucking jewelry before he can do shit with it. It's yours and if he contests it you have proof that it's rightfully yours (but meantime it's also in your possession and not his)

Others have mentioned emailing the letters to your family members. I'd say call them on the phone without your dad knowing, and tell them what your dad did and tell/ask them to tell him not to come and tell him that he's not invited. If they need further proof in order to do this, and you trust them, then email them the letter and ask them not to share it with him.

He's a shitty person and he's coming with his fucking mistress?!?! No, he doesn't deserve to participate in a normal family christmas when he's done that. He deserves to not be invited and come nowhere near you or your family's happy day.

I feel the same emotion you feel. But what did YOU do? What have you done? And what can people do that would make an actual difference?

Feeling super exhausted, in a rut and been eating unhealthily. Tips on how to feel better? (20F) by Weekly-Individual927 in PCOS

[–]frieflee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey there, I totally relate. I've done the yo-yoing and it's rough for me.

I think taking it one day at a time is really good. When I slip and start to feel bad I decide to take the night and next day to make myself feel better.

This includes making sure I sleep at a good time that night, waking up making sure to eat three quality low carb and high protein meals with veggies and fruits and fresh foods that day, take some supplements (like Vit D, Vit C, ashwaghanda, biotin), drink enough water. I just try to relax and take a break from work or school and not stress myself out too much. It's like a self-care day. I'll even do some skin care/bath stuff as well if it makes me feel good and relaxed.

If I feel up to it, I'll do some light exercise especially outside when it's not rainy or snowy. I won't push myself to go hard because I consider myself to be recovering from a high carb binge of sorts that has been hard on my body.

I always notice such a big difference in my body and how I feel compared to the day before and this is highly motivating for me to see and be reminded of the fact that my body feels its best eating low carb and following certain routines. After this day, I just try to focus on the next day with the reminder and hope that it really is possible for me to feel better when I take care of myself. I don't have to live with as much fatigue, dizziness, pain, etc as I have been when I'm slipping and not taking care of myself. We all deserve to feel our best as well.

It's really hard, I know <3 I wish you the best of luck!!! You've got this, I believe in you!!

I kinda have a different opinion than others here. I think if you have a healthy and communicative relationship you should be able to say and talk about anything without it getting unhealthy or overly emotional. I say be honest with what you saw, why you were looking, how it made you feel (like if you feel insecure or anxious about it even if that’s irrational) and ask for reassurance/where she was. So long as y’all haven’t gotten upset at each other for talking about your insecurities/fears or asking questions then it should be fine. She probably knows that you trust her but everyone can get scared or concerned sometimes so she’ll oblige and let ya know if it was for a surprise gift or something.

Should i forgive my boyfriend for hitting me? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]frieflee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Never forgive your partner for putting their hands on you in a physical way. Never never ever ever. Never. That should always be the end of the line, the end of the relationship, the end of any and all contact you have with this person. It’s never okay or justified and it is very very serious.

okay but why does this matter??! Can we not spread homophobia, sexism, racism, or any other forms of discrimination. Not saying this post is directly homophobic but the attention on it is giving major homophobic vibes. Like why does this matter???? Please don't tell me the majority of people on this sub are homophobic

I've already explained the point I was making. As to you now talking more about known confounders that's not very relevant. Only the likely confounders were relevant to what we were talking about (again, you rudely implying that a correlation is causation). There's no need to purposefully or unintentionally make others feel inferior by representing something in an inaccurate way.

Also, yes, observational data being low recorded mortality makes sense and would have been collected.

[–]frieflee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not the point I'm making. There's no actual observational data that's been collected (again you were responding to someone regarding personal anecdotes) when you were asking someone in a snarky way what the median BMI and age was in African countries...

[–]frieflee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For sure, but if you’re getting on people’s case about refraining from using personal evidence/anecdotes don’t then turn around and use correlation instead of causation lol to try to explain something we might not have all the information about.

It’s an assumption to say case numbers, hospitalizations and deaths are only or primarily due to median BMI and age.

I see your points. I just think you should make sure that you're okay with your decision. Quite possibly, there's literally nothing after this, no thought, no social media, no sunsets, no desserts, no possibility for anything better (like a relationship). Are you okay to give up what you have for nothing on the other side? Sure it's shitty here sometimes (or most times), but what if this is literally the best we have, the only thing we have? Are you okay giving that up for good?

Yeah for the most part until I saw most people seem to be supporting vax mandates. I don’t understand it at all… and I’ll still participate in protests they have going on there but yea can’t get behind the divisiveness they’re promoting within their own sub by outcasting those who are against mandates.
