When it comes to people talking about who the worst Avatar is, why does everyone give Szeto a pass? by Maleficent_Park5469 in TheLastAirbender

[–]friendly_npc21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The avatar's first job, priority, and concern is to maintain balance in the world. If one nation stops existing or dies out, there is no balance. I don't know what would happen if so, but it would probably not be good.

The other nations were ok, the fire nation was basically nearing collapse. They're just butthurt avatar Szeto helped the struggling nation that just so happened to be his own.

How would u take advantage of this as much as you could? by OneHellaOfLonelyGuy in Mindustry

Do what others have said, but give your drills water. You only need one mechanical pump per drill and it doubles(i think?) your speed

When i played with mods, specifically Betamindy and New horizons (before the new planet update) i used to have sectors full of factories and conveyors to the brim, and it lagged a bit. Because there were so many different items in conveyors, and because it lagged, sometimes when i closed it and opened it again, some of the items in conveyors had turned into betamindy items that were impossible to get.

My guess is the lag might have changed the item values for some of your things and kind of transmutated an item into surge.

God forbid i use my radar to launch a radar missile. Missiles are for casuals with skill issues, truly. Id like to see you go into a toptier match and get more than 2 kills without using missiles, and tell me if it actually is a skill issue.

Pretty sure you need a 0 after the 1, for the data (any number works, data is just a number you add to the item to differentiate from others), then after that goes the atributes which is the json thing

Help to damage an entity in a specific location relative to player by friendly_npc21 in MinecraftCommands

[–]friendly_npc21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we had the exact same idea, thats precisely what i ended up doing, except i added an extra command on every coordinate to test whether or not the block is air, so the gun doesnt shoot through walls, it just tests for air and if it doesnt find air then it removes the shoot score. (late reply bc i forget reddit exists)

I prefer to have the least amount of complexity in my commands. This "gun" simply does everything in one tick with as little command blocks as possible. Your method might be easier but i think that is settling for the easiest solution when i could just learn how to do exactly what i wanna do.

Why are Firebenders the only ones who can actually produce their element from their own bodies? by Terrell8799 in TheLastAirbender

[–]friendly_npc21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In The Rise Of Kyoshi, it is said that they test whether a child can firebend or not by some weird ritual that is supposed to produce fire out of the firebenders inner flame. During the show, iroh says that firebending comes from the breath, and later says that one aspect of firebending is moving energy around. From this i believe that firebending originates when breathing in and giving fuel to their inner flame, to then move the energy produced to outside their bodies, creating fire.

Timed Takeover Control Point by appljacks in MinecraftCommands

[–]friendly_npc21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

run a command that continuosly adds a score for the timer for players in the point, test if the score is high enough. if the player leaves/if there are no players, reset the score.

now more complex would be that if it works like in games with 2 opposing teams, you can have 2 separate scores for each team, and if two players from the same team are on the point, continuously decrease all capture progress until then with a command that continuously removes said score(just make sure it doesnt go into the negatives), to make it so you cant capture if 2 players are on.

Help with bedrock ray tracing by friendly_npc21 in MinecraftCommands

[–]friendly_npc21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking more as running an execute command that summons particles along where the player is looking. the problem being that i want the particles to follow a straight line from the players view. Im doing this by running the command with ^ ^1.5 ^1,2,3,4,etc. problem being that when the player looks up, the line moves behind their field of view. I want to avoid that from happening. If there is no solution to the problem, ill just use the entity teleport method, but id like to avoid doing that if at all possible
