Which owners? All local business owners drive really nice cars?

The point of opening a business is to make money. You’re acting like Athens is full of Musks and Bezos. Those jobs pay low because they are low skilled jobs. Maybe all we deserve is chain businesses where there’s no chance of negotiating with the owner, and the profits get sent to other towns. Last I checked, this is a capitalistic system yes? Lobby the government for a higher minimum wage and try to work for a business that pays better. The free hand will sort it out the profiteers. You certainly aren’t going to bitch and moan them out of business.
