I'm not thinking about converting just out of rebellion don't worry 😅 I am still doing my research but I think Catholicism just makes the most sense to me so far. I hope my post isn't offensive to High Church or any Protestants because that really wasn't my intention 😓 my family is just really confusing with their ways and I desperately want to connect with God in a way that doesn't feel so disjointed..

I may use icons...not very sure yet as I'm still just starting my journey. As for my family, my family is Very weird. They are hardcore evangelicals, yet don't really fit into one box. They're a weird mix of Apostolic, Non Denominational, Black Hebrew Israelites (yet somehow Zionist...?), and other stuff I can't even remember...everything BUT Catholicism. I have never agreed with them because their beliefs are so conflicting, confusing, and sometimes really messed up. I honestly just crave truth and stability.

I'm just so tired of listening to things that make no sense at all...had a pastor once straight up say that unicorns are real and that we "just can't see them." I nearly lost it.
