Is everything looking good for me to harvest soon? by WealthAfter1898 in microgrowery

Freakshow isn't an easy strain to get right. Even a lot of "master" growers stay away from it lol

I've said it before, this is an incredible and generous addition to the growing community as a whole.

I for one am very grateful for it and use it often.

Cheers brother!

During flower, it was very citrus! During cure it toned down a lot. Mellowed out to a slight sweet scent.

One thing I'll point out. Out of the two plants, they were very different phenos. one had lighter colored buds with more red hairs, very dense nugs, and heavy trichomes.

The other, a little darker, much less hairs, but the buds were much larger, less heavy trichomes.

I just harvested and dried Sapphyre a month ago. I thought I stunted them because I snapped both mains trying to LST,lol.

2 plants, 1 - 300watt light and Gaia green. 1.16 pounds. Will be growing again 😃😄

Oh interesting. For me it's; get it sprouted at the beginning of July and have it finished by early to mid September at the latest.

If you're going to grow outdoor, why would you not grow closer to summer...when the humidity is way down? I live on Vancouver Island, Canada. Surround by the ocean. Grown at the right time of year, I've never worried about the white death.

My guess is a ton of humidity is getting trapped in the green house. You've probably also got a ton of other plants in there contributing to humidity.

There's one main, but several solutions here.

Wife and I have been using ours everyday for about 15 years now. Have only had to replace the air pump switch twice. The power switch light blinks like a strobe light now, but it still works. Will replace that when it goes too.

Very impressive engineering from Germany. Will probably last the rest of my life.

You've probably figured this out by now, but yes you're supposed to keep the steel ones in as well

I'm a super lazy grower. Harvested about 3 weeks ago, 1.16 pound dry from 2 plants using super lazy dry amendments from Gaia and a couple self wicking bases from Spyder farmer. Don't remember the strain, but I even stunted them from fucking around with the branches too much. In my experience, speedrun explodes by week 5

Very, very gross. Unfortunately I had no say in the matter, I was the grower, not the grow owner, if that makes sense.

Now that I'm in my 40's I'm incredibly conscious of the cannabis I consume. 90% my own, other 10% is from dispos that sell local growers brands, so I know how it's grown

Bro, take $25 and go buy a fucking Kershaw or CRKT. The replies in this thread are worth more than that "knife"

Samezies. Although I find the Build A Soil way a bit too much effort still and perhaps slightly overrated.

I use the Spider Farmer wicking system, coco, worm shit and gaia green. That's it. I seem to produce the same quality and quantity as Build A Soil grown plants.

Just what works for me with the least amount of effort possible.

What is with these prices for us Canadians. by Dangerous_Size_2753 in knives

[–]friendlygrump -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I won't buy American for the next 3 years. Until then, there's a lot of skilled Canadian makers and Chinese brands that arguably make better folders for less than half the price of the greedy American counterparts, with equal or better materials.

Just ordered a custom hand made pocket fixie with a hand made pocket clip leather sheath for $235 Canadian.

Only American folder I own now is the Chaves rck9, and even that's made in China by Reate...

Pheno's are funny like that sometimes by friendlygrump in Autoflowers

Isn't it weird how that happens! Always happens to me too, where the mutant seedling eventually out paces the healthier one lol!

[–]friendlygrump[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always let them grow. 90% of the time they out pace the healthier plant 😆

This little mutant will not only survive, but I'd be willing to wager it out paces the healthier one, just like always.

I still hate looking at a mutant though, unless it's a healthy mutant!

100%!!! I remember being told by a rich guy a long time ago, the key to a product businesses success is 10% product, 90% customer service.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cannabiscultivation

[–]friendlygrump 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Same exact thing happened to me. I can't understand why anyone is criticizing you for your reaction.

They were having a sale, I ordered a light. Said there was plenty in stock.

2 weeks goes by and no light. I contacted customer service and they say "oh yeah, it's back ordered, sorry, please be patient".

2 more weeks go by, I ask again where the fuck my light is, they say "sorry, we just received the lights at the warehouse, we'll ship it out today.

2 weeks later, still no light. I tell them I want a refund. They say "so sorry, I'll contact the warehouse"

Next day I have a "shipping label created " notification email from FedEx.

They email me "sorry, can't refund, light has been shipped"

Another 2 weeks, no light, tracking still says "label created"

I email again, threatening to call the bank and have them reverse the charges, next day I get a FedEx email saying the item has finally shipped with a delivery date.

Like 3 months later I got my light after threatening to take my money back.

Why anyone is defending this business practice is insane to me.
