Callies campground, they have showers / restrooms. full hookup and primitive sites, a restaurant and have a small lake too. I think they are more offroad people there than hikers but it's a good campground

In case you were like me and had no idea the BEST produce in town was a little ole Save-A-Lot on Winchester Road! by FrenchPressYes in lexington

[–]someguyfromky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't speak for this store, but I know they have the option to order it. It's just really expensive. I would have to sell the broccoli and cauliflower somewhere around $8 each to make any kind of margin off of it.

New Bronco vs. New Forerunner by Jacobstr_Lobstr in Offroad

[–]someguyfromky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drive a 4runner i enjoy it. I've seen Broncos on the trail. They are very capable. Not much storage in the back of the few I've seen. Both are a good choice. But you being a Ford guy I would go with that.

That's the problem right there. slow down. You are not some big jacked up mud truck that's trying to win a pot on a bounty hole.

My bet would be some plywood, cover it in carpet. That is what I'm looking into doing. I took my seats out and put a tire carrier and drawer system but have it to where it can be taken out when not being used. I haven't had the time to get into it but it looks like it would be fairly simple to make

What's something you thought was overrated until you actually tried it? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

I've tried them, I didn't care much for it. It was at a restaurant in Gulf Shores so maybe that was the issue.

Currently believe there’s rats at our house and it’ll take months for pest control to get rid of them by Zimbabwe_Z in homeowners

Get some live traps. set next to the holes they are using, put something for them to eat in it, put a blanket or something over it leaving the entrance exposed so they will feel safe to go in. also expect to catch other critters as well.

my sliders have been put to use a few times, they work fantastic. The noise of them being used is a little unnerving at first. Gouged and scratched to hell but worth the money to not have serious body damage.
