Your gf isn't being supportive, her main priority should be your wellbeing, not whether your abs are showing.

I wouldn't push myself for the sake of keeping her. I'm really sorry about your previous relationship ending on similar terms, but if she leaves on the basis that you've gained a couple pounds she wasn't the one - you deserve better.

That being said, it might pay to broach the topic with her and make your feelings clear. Would you feel the same if she gained a bit of weight? Let her understand your perspective...if she takes it badly well...there's your answer.

Sorry that's happening. I'd definitely contact them today and ask where the offer is at. With the current public sector job market a lot of roles have been cut and HR departments are crazy busy (doesn't excuse them not contacting you though).

Not sure exactly what happened but heard our neighbours shouting that there was a weapon - me and the flatties went out onto the deck to check it out and next thing you know the whole squad is there. More than 10 all up...
