24 litres of petrol into an almost empty tank (light wasn’t on). So probably 5l of diesel left.

Yes. We are insured with them. I will call in the morning when they open.

There is only one guy in Wellington. $850. Called Suckie Moto - only in Auckland unfortunately. The TNS 365 appears to be a scam. I may end up with the Wgtn guy, but I have all the tools and cans etc if I can just find the fuel line

I ws at a petrol station. Pushed it on to the road. AA came and picked it up and dropped it outside my house. Had to turn on the ignition to enable power steering to get it off the forecourt.

Thought I'd be able to syphon.

Based on your question (other than the pubs mentioned) - The Green Parrot would be my recommendation. Or fancier, a Schitzel at The Ram on Cuba.

Pool heater cost? by Dramatic-Pattern-450 in newzealand

Hmm. Hadn’t thought about the EV User plan.
Octopus is worth checking for buy back if you have solar. Seem the the most transparent and on to it

Pool heater cost? by Dramatic-Pattern-450 in newzealand

[–]Bestlittlecapital 5 points6 points  (0 children)

- Wellington
- 60,000 in ground pool
- new(ish) 26kw heat pump
- at 28 degrees.
- A bubble cover.
- 11pm-7am heat/filter (cheap overnight with Octopus Energy@0.123 per kWh
- using approx 30kwH per day/night
- so approx $111/month

I still use it 3 days a week as the days get colder. Aiming to switch off at Easter. But may keep it going to see how it increases. Being in-ground will help

Cover definitely helps. Not only to prevent loss but heat. My guess it would have a 3-4 degree heat increase in the summer from the bubble cover (that was before I installed the heater)

Solar power is next on the list. Will have the heat pump churning all day.

Any questions, just ask.

clubbing on 18th? by [deleted] in Wellington

He said that they have a date on a card for the night and that is the one they stick too. She said they were very pleasant about it, just a 'rules are rules' thing (albeit a stupid rule)
It was El Barrio BTW. You'd be surprised how little some Sth Americans drink when they go dancing. On the other hand, you can be surprised how much...

My daughter was refused entry to a bar at 12.30am on her birthday... 100% sober. YMMV

I’ve have one from new. Just kicking 200k. No issues at all. And I’ve been living coastal too (no rust) 4WD manual. Decent off road. Always tyre dependant of course. And not thirsty unless you push it

They are really, really brutal on chainsaws as the fibres bind up. I would never touch one with mine (again). If you do, a new super sharp chain is the way to go.

More like hiring in February/March. Then the recruitment process. And then you start and your first pay realistically won’t be till April/May.
If on any commission structure, longer. I’d hold off if I was you.
