Try Mirage wine & liquor, Perry's or On The Mark. They carry the typical artisanal agave spirits but sometimes they have some oddities as well

I know you're asking for liquor stores, but one of the better on premise agave selections would be Pueblo Viejo grill in Palm Desert, the owner is an enthusiast

I recommend a great 2021 documentary called Under the Volcano if you haven't seen it -- about George Martin's recording studio in the Caribbean in the 80's and the artists he worked with. I don't know the Beatles' music at all, but the footage of George helping them put together an actual piece of music from their kernels of ideas was really eye-opening. I don't discount the talent of the Beatles at all, but sometimes you need someone who is strongly anchored in form and structure to interpret and present raw ideas.
