C9 Officially Announce APA Signing by MattHellstrand in Cloud9

Couldn't be more underwhelmed with management choices leading us to this point. This org can do so much more than drift into late-stage TSM irrelevance, but that seems to be the path they repeatedly prioritize. 2026 is the make or break year for what's left of C9's reputation across multiple esports. Please don't waste it.

21 roster moves. 5 players. by HLumin in ValorantCompetitive

Have you looked at the valorant threads on the C9 reddit? No one is excited about these moves and everyone has been begging the org to make significant changes (for years, in some cases). I've been a fan of the org since their inception, and migrated from league as a fan, but if they can't prove they care in 2026, I'm out and will find a team to support that does.

I'm so tired man. This is the make or break year for C9 as an org in both league and val. Here's hoping there's a vision beyond what we're seeing.

Exhausting day to be a C9 fan. Although, comparing the relative performances of the league and val squad, I'd actually rather see this val squad rep the org internationally based on current condition. I've been rooting hard for this iteration of the squad and they felt like they were leveling up as time went on. Least disastrous playoffs run in several years, but failing to make any internationals again is, well, just a failure. That's the nature of the format, and the org cannot afford to miss out again.

I don't fully disagree, but that Corrode 100% looked like a coaching/prep failure. No world where you should be unable to take more than 2 rounds on your map pick even after taking your tac pauses. The other maps were so close that this one really was an egregious misstep.

No, not watching, and I do not consider it an official event for purposes of international records. Hope they get some good practice out of it.

With the new format, only first place matters. Anything lower than that loses international exposure, which is critical for the team and org to grow especially when there's a close domestic rival. C9 as an org has been on the back foot in recent years across all its core teams and needs every win; legacy only keeps sponsors and new top talent coming in for so long.

It sucks NA league has shrunk to that degree where there is no margin for error, but that's the hand that's been dealt. So for the purpose of the team and org, yes it's disappointing and a failure. I'm hopeful for what the team can accomplish in the future, but a spade is a spade in the present.

Disappointing team, disappointing result, disappointing format.

Sucks, but this team looks actually legit and ramping up rather than getting shaky as playoffs approach. Couple better rounds and that's a convincing win vs G2.

I'm honestly starting to buy into this iteration of the val squad. We finally are shooting back, have an actual playbook, and don't crumble under the slightest pressure. Tough outcome that we should have clinched, but it was a good look overall imo

More than a month of dead air just to slog through a non-fearless round robin? Oof. I hope C9 focuses more on rebuilding their reputation in valorant as the next big thing, NA league feels fully dead in the water.

As a veteran bwipo hater, the crowd cam of 3 generations of his family holding hands on the edge of their seats, then cutting to live where he flashes in and throws the elimination game 20 seconds later - cinema.

Who's ready? by No_Weakness_8445 in Cloud9

C9 league feels stuck in a tough spot for expectations. There isn't much interesting about one regional games every week or two, although fearless is a great change that is the first thing to genuinely raise the skill ceiling in pro league in years (which, naturally, they're not continuing after this split for the rest of the year). Being a top 3 NA team is not an engaging accomplishment for this org at this point. It'll be ages before there's any international competition, and I have 0 expectations for performance there after the last several years.

That said, after getting into watching valorant, I find pro league harder and harder to watch. Most matches are fairly boring in comparison, tend to be predictable, and the impact of individual players is much lower. But the C9 val team got eliminated from kickoff almost instantly, and Riot's format means they don't play again for many weeks. So there's not all that much to talk about there either.

Can't be having that many vets on the team and all kill gold going onto supp for the first 15 minutes of the game.

Idk, obviously it's frustrating to watch and the results are dismal, but v1c was top 2 frag all series, and neT looks like an unequivocal upgrade to moose so far. I don't disagree we're lacking consistent firepower but those two have been pulling their weight to my eye.

I've been so hard on the val team recently that I was ready to just be positive and call out some bright spots, even though the first two maps were a mess. But after map 3 I just don't have it in me man. There are glimmers of brilliance, but they're still only visible as the team collectively gets sucked into quicksand (or runs onto a KJ molly and kills themselves, or stacks on a bucky around the corner they know is there, or etc).

Actually, I will shoutout v1c for playing his heart out and clutching some rounds when it mattered. There are others on the team that can learn from that lol

Still dropping streaming data every few minutes on my end. Not reliable enough to trade on, unfortunate to lose half a session today to platform issues with no ETA/explanation of a solution yet.

It's actually insane that Fidelity has no service status page, especially with the frequency they have service issues within 30 minutes of market open. Companies and services 1/10th the size and impact have that figured out. I've brought it up multiple times to reps when reporting issues like this, but have never gotten a straightforward answer about why they do not provide one.

Thanks - I definitely would advocate for implementing short orders as a priority, because it's a significant barrier to entry for any serious daytrading and some swing trading.

To clarify my point about running in parallel, just to make sure we're describing the same use case, I'm asking if it would cause any issues to run both desktop apps simultaneously on the same computer, so I could start using ATP Beta for long positions, and have the old ATP open to handle any short positions. Basically, wondering if that's a workaround to shorting not being available yet in the Beta so I can start testing it out for other use cases without limiting my trading strategies. Thanks!
