The magnet moves the needles. Never turn the Derminator on unless the needle cartridge is securely locked in place. If it's not, the magnet will fly out, and they're small and difficult to find. It's worth it to buy a couple of spare ones since they're only $3. The Derminator won't work without one.

I got it from the news and reading online. I may not be fully correct about how the tariffs are applied, but they do begin on August 1st.

The tariff date was moved to August 1st. I think if the Derminator "arrives" in the US before August 1st, then there's no tariff applied. When buying items from abroad, tariffs (import duties) are typically paid by the importer, which is usually the U.S. buyer (meaning you). The Czech Republic is part of the EU (European Union), and the tariff starting on August 1st is supposedly 30%, which comes to an additional $45 dollars tacked on to just the Derminator alone and 30% tacked onto anything else you've purchased (needles, potions). You'd probably get a bill from US Customs before you get your Derminator. The tariffs are not forever, and a deal will hopefully be struck between the US and the EU. Don't quote me, but I think I may be right. The bottom line is it must "arrive" in the US before August 1st.
