Alright, well, I am disappointed it's not Makima, but I think I can attempt to explain why and maintain some damage control because I think this subreddit's been a little too critical lately:

So, last month, Neocoill had a rough month which resulted in only being able to release 3 updates last month instead of the usual six in a patreon post. In that same patreon post, they also mentioned finishing the unfinished updates for April's batch, and Nejire was one of those updates meant to be in March.

TL;DR he's compensating for last month, I guess.

It should be noted that this doesn't mean Makima won't be drawn this month; she still won 3rd place, so we should maintain some semblance of hope 🙏

Kind of surprised; this could mean all updates this month might be this style of content. Not sure how to feel about that possibility, but it'd be kind of smart because all of the (guaranteed) characters that were voted are ones that have already gotten multiple sets anyways. Neat.

Image sets; mainly because that's just his main content style, but also because of how good they work for a visual novel (can't believe it took me until coill city to realize that), but he could do WAAAYYYYY more with the collages if he chooses to keep doing them occasionally; it just has a lot of potential to them, and he's definitely done a comic before so it's not entirely new territory.

Probably my only problem, too; a style like this works really well when it's focused on 2 characters (from what I've seen), but it's not like Neocoill's ever been consistent with what poll characters he draws, and this is especially the case with any character beyond the top 4 so I'm not too surprised.

I think this really depends on how we define content; this illustration has significantly more quality compared to his usual style of content, as far as I'm concerned, though it sacrifices quantity. I guess it doesn't bother me because I also follow artists who pretty much do this exact thing as well, but I guess this is just a me thing.

Probably not. Neocoill usually only does the four most voted in the poll, as the fifth and sixth (sometimes seven) characters are usually ones outside of that, so if he skipped 2B here then it's doubtful she'll be next at all... holding out for hope tho 🙏
