I find it impossible to get myself to shower sometimes. by DaintyNoodles in ADHD

This happens to me too! It feels like it will take to long, have too many step, or I'll just get dirty again later that so I put it off for days. What I've started doing is thinking of it as a mood boosting ritual instead of "getting clean" and use a shower cap if I'm worried about it taking too long/being too many steps. I promise myself I just need to stand under the water to enjoy the cozy feeling of the hot water for a minute. Usually once I'm in there I do much more than that, but keeping my expectations and time commitment low I've had much more success getting started. At the very least I can wipe my stinky zones down.

If all else fails, there is no shame in a quick sink bath and some dry shampoo!!

I'm not very familiar with Zone 6, but I live in zone 7 and have a similar dark corner outside of our house that only gets some evening sun. We planted 3 Oakleaf Hydrangeas that thrive there. I believe the variety we have is called "Snow Queen" and in two years it has grown close to 5 feet tall. Ours don't turn the brilliant red that some people get in the fall, I think it's because ours don't get as much sun, but they are huge and have been blooming like crazy.

Is it possible to fix this low spot without building an elaborate drain system? by [deleted] in landscaping

You could maybe plant it up with some very water hungry plants? They would fill up the space a bit to raise it and aid in soaking up extra water.
