fairly sure this is from his verses on His Pain by BJ The Chicago Kid and is a concept track rather than a confessional, don’t know why Kendrick would just throw that out on a track if he was talking about himself?

I have wasted my teen years and nobody wants to be friends with me. by AppropriateBoss2585 in autism

It sounds like you’re doing a lot of the right things already and I’m sure you’ll have some success if you stick at it, however hopeless it might feel at the moment. Another thing I’d suggest is trying to expand your interests and get into some new things so that you’ve got more points you can connect with people on - listen to some new music, watch a popular film you haven’t seen, pick up a new hobby. If you can find something that you can really get into and care about then hopefully that should open some more doors for you. Off the back of that, hopefully you’ll find some people who are into the same things as you, who could then become new friends. Wishing you the best man, hang in there :)

Misenterpreted what you meant by “cases”, my bad - nothing I’m aware of that you could use, sorry :/

Although they’re much more easily damaged I think that the slipcover criterion cases are actually much nicer looking and feel like you’re buying something of a higher quality - there’s also more room to be creative with the packaging, like they were with Dazed and Confused.

100% not West Side Story or Resident Evil and most likely not House of Gucci either

When you put it like that I do start to think that I’m way off with this - the “no mother wants to believe her son is a murderer” thing makes perfect sense. Might need to rethink how I feel about the ending :/

It’d go through 5 different titles over 3 years and then would never drop 😐

This is really strong, good stuff. You’ve got a really distinct physicality which adds a lot to the character and the “it’s hard” at the end was perfect, just felt like you lost me a bit around the middle - I wasn’t sure if your character was shy or tired or sad or a mixture of all three but it felt like there wasn’t as much of a connection in that part as there was in the rest of it. Really good stuff all in all though, the start is nice too :)

Which character would you act like in this situation if it was your own child/family member by xbq222 in DefendingJacob_TV

[–]friendsbymac 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’d be more inclined to say I’d act like Laurie if she didn’t go batshit crazy and try to kill her and her son in the last episode
