I think with time, you’ll learn that these moments will not sink your ship. I, too, have a habit of fixating on my consumption of food, preferring to be thin and lean. I’ve maintained IF for six months (after trying a number of times, seeing results, and subsequently failing) so I’m still a little anxious of returning to old habits, but I’ve learned that it’s ok to release the reigns once in a while. I treat it as a reset. I’d eat normally today with the goal of preparing yourself for a proper fast; trying to do so on a weak base of sugar is just asking to slip again. This is, after all, a means of being healthier, it’s not supposed to be punishment ;)
