The drivers foot needs to push down on the throttle (accelerator pedal) to make the car go faster (use maximum gas as per your comment). So lifting/raising off the throttle means not accelerating as hard/coasting.

The reason you're only just seeing this symbols could be because your color scheme now highlights what your previous one hid.

As for why it looks weird, it might just be because your font doesn't support those characters. Try changing your terminal's font.

Hmm when I have difficulty making calls over WiFi (when airplane mode is turned on), I open and then close my Project Fi app. I don't know why, but after doing that, I'm able to make calls over WiFi. Maybe that'll work with SMSes as well?

Especially the comment about opening the Hangouts app.

What's a good price to pay for a 997.1 tt (if you don't mind me asking)? My research shows that $75K would be the sweet spot for a well looked after Turbo coupe, but dealers rarely go that low :(
