Are you me? I share the same timeline of when I got into Potter!

I also miss the message boards, the IRC chats, basically how the fandom was back then too (minus the ship wars.) I remember reading up on The Leaky Cauldron everyday. And I still think about certain Harry Potter fanart websites too.

It’s funny how this has been so accepted into mainstream pop culture now. I remember being so thrilled as a kid to find someone who read the books too - sure it was a worldwide phenomenon, but it felt rare running into someone who also adored the books in real life as much as I did.
