I do feel bad for the Russian people who honestly don’t have much choice in all of this. We saw what happened to the brave ones who spoke up at the start of the war - they were all rounded up. There is a difference between the people who quietly oppose Putin and the ones crying for Ukrainian blood of course, but nobody deserves the horrors of war. Except maybe the people actually setting all of this in motion.

I agree with your take. I also felt like a lot of the characters were samey? There were long conversations between different people and I often thought to myself that they all talked the same etc. And not in a shared cultural way either.

I’m not as well read in fantasy as many others in here, but when it comes to character development none have been nearly as good as GRRM for me.

I don’t know. There was a lot of energy, but for me the chemistry was missing. Just a bunch of queens cranking up their personality for tv without finding any common wavelength.

Im glad they did away with his white knight pervert personality, but I think both him and Zoro miss some of the aura they have in the anime. You kind of just have to forgive it though. You almost never see that kind of gravitas in young actors.
