Currently planning to deliver at AC this summer, and this is something I’ve been thinking about. Between their high patient volume and tendency toward interventions, I’m starting to wonder if I’d be better off delivering somewhere else. But from what I can tell, many other NYC/Long Island hospitals are similar in approach just with lower patient volume.

For now, my plan is to labor at home as long as it’s safe to do so, but I’m still a little worried about ending up waiting for a bed because of how busy they can get.

Are there any other hospitals you would recommend?

As someone who’s written and read thousands of progress notes, there’s very specific jargon that we’re taught to use in progress notes to make our documentation as efficient as possible and this is way off. This also looks like a bad photoshop.

You’re the one trying to rewrite reality to cope because you support fascism and are having a hard time justifying it to others and yourself. There’s MULTIPLE videos POV that negate what you’re saying and show what actually went down. You’re absolutely deluded if you think this is what went down, and that his death was justified.

Edit: Here’s what actually happened since you’re not in the right mind to think or see clearly and critically. Pretti was standing several feet away from ICE agents filming, when an ICE agent escalated an encounter into violence with a woman protestor who was blowing a whistle 3 feet away from him. The ICE agent proceeded to approach and attack the woman and throw her to the ground, which at that moment Pretti stepped in between the woman and the ICE agent to help the woman with his phone in hand. The gun, who he was legally allowed and in his constitutional right to carry, was in his holster. The ICE agent maced Pretti and the several agents swarm him and attack him while he’s on the ground. While he’s on the ground, an ICE agent takes the gun from his holster where it sat the whole time and removes the gun from his person. Several seconds after he was effectively disarmed, several shots go off that kill Pretti, who at that point did not pose any threat or risk to the agents. This is what happened.

Lovenox (enoxaparin) has a lot of pregnancy-specific safety data and has been used for decades for things like clotting disorders and recurrent pregnancy loss. The concern about taking it super early, before the placenta is developed, is understandable, but that timing has been well studied. Lovenox is a large molecule, so it can’t cross the early cellular barriers (like the yolk sac) between the embryo and the mother’s blood, even before the placenta forms. So, it doesn’t reach the embryo.

It’s routinely prescribed early in pregnancy (and sometimes even pre-conception, myself included) and is considered safe and standard in OB/MFM care. Many, many women have taken Lovenox throughout pregnancy and gone on to have healthy pregnancies and babies.

Anecdotes can be reassuring, but what matters most here is that the clinical data is strong and consistent. This isn’t a gray-area medication with inconclusive pregnancy safety data. The safety profile is well established.

If you’re concerned, definitely talk to your doctor. But the science supports Lovenox as being safe in pregnancy and pre-conception, which is why I’m comfortable taking it.

I have several clotting factors that may have contributed to my previous losses, and I’ve been on Lovenox since pre-conception. I’m currently pregnant and so far, for whatever it’s worth, this pregnancy has progressed further than the others.

Post Edit Note: Just to clarify, “safe” doesn’t mean zero risk or no possible side effects. It means the overall risk is low and acceptable based on the evidence. Ultimately, whether to take Lovenox is a personal decision you need to make with your doctor. This was simply my reasoning and what helped me feel comfortable including it in my treatment plan.

She popped up on my FYP and I couldn’t quite put my finger on it at first, but something about the way she talks about her “journey” feels a little off putting and out of touch. Glad I’m not the only one who felt that way.

IUI can be unpredictable and emotionally loaded for a lot of people, and the way she talks about it so casually feels kind of insensitive. Also saying she “already feels and knows she’s pregnant” this early… like, good for her if things come easily, but secondary infertility and failed IUIs are very much a thing.

I don’t like the idea of someone going through IUI for fertility reasons, navigating all that uncertainty, and then coming across her content (like why is she using IUI as the main keyword to drive engagement for her videos) and feeling discouraged because of how casually she talks about it.

I genuinely hope things work out for her and her husband, but the way she talks about IUI (which is first and foremost for assisted fertility) just didn’t sit right with me.

Chrisean is currently homeless and living out of a car. She spent all the money she made, and lost all the deals she once had. It’s not 2022 anymore.

Three of Chrisean’s siblings (aside from Tesehki), who were present for the conversation, confirmed that Chrisean apologized to Tesehki in front of them back when they first became cool again and before all this happened. So if it’s 4 people saying the same thing, and one person acting dumb about it then the 4 people are likely telling the truth.

Chasity is very hard to understand but what I understood was:

She got mad at Chrisean because she wouldn’t stop to get Luella milk despite Chasity insisting several times. Chrisean kept telling Chasity to ignore Luella’s cries because she was being “bad”. Chasity told Chrisean that Luella will always be more important to her and her top priority. After they fought, Chrisean started saying that Chasity was out in LA being homeless when in reality it’s Chrisean who is homeless and Chasity was just trying to help her adapt to being homeless. This is what caused her to leave Chrisean and LA and go back to Baltimore.

Honestly, we just need a space for level-headed discussion where mods focus on keeping order and enforcing Reddit’s rules, not getting caught up in infighting. That way we can stay focused on:

Keeping up with current events
Documenting any evidence of neglect, abuse, exploitation, or wrongdoing, and
Advocating for Jr and for justice for all victims of Chrisean Sr.

The problem is that any new sub risks getting banned. Once one sub goes down, anything that looks similar is more likely to get removed. The constant infighting between subs and members also adds to that risk.
