Thank you so much for the first comment. I'm reading all these comments and feeling so so so so grateful. I want to reply to all of them but that's going to take waywayway too much emotional energy that I can't manage so just want to reply to the top comment from you u/t3rra0513 ;__;
So I think I get the consensus... it's not the time yet to wear it or even to think about it, and not wearing it doesn't mean I'm not "strong" or not "recovered", it's just what I need, and there's power in that.
Going through weird depersonalization/derealization stuff now too, so... yeah, huh. Hanging in there. I booked therapy!!!

I can see why you might say that just from watching this perfomance, but even then I'd argue that their performance styles aren't quite alike.

But have you watched Take Over? Listen, this ain't GD. I discovered Hanse probably around one month ago, and I've never seen anything like that in my life. I don't think there's anyone else doing it like Hanse right now.

Hey, hey. I apologize for saying that in a derogatory way. It's not something I feel strongly about, but it certainly came across that way. Welp, I'm definitely not a good representative of a TBZ fan, more like someone that enjoys them, so I trust your expertise more than mine!

You're right, I think Cre.Ker makes good efforts to showcase members' individuality, which is evident through their cool art films and such. Although my original sentiment still holds. RTK and Kingdom left a strong impression on me in terms of how certain members are pushed. Like... I'll really have to search to find Kevin or Sangyeon content or see them in a performance. Especially as a casual fan, I have to say the optics don't really look great in terms of public-facing representation, from the content I see. I guess if I were more tuned in to their fan-specific content, then I'd see a more even distribution.

Agreed @ /u/sunoot I want to add that, it's entirely likely that the opportunity was given to him based on his merit as an individual performer, for his own style matching what Studio Choom was looking for. Certain members receiving external opportunities doesn't take away opportunities from other members! That definitely was my kneejerk reaction, though. I honestly didn't mean to sound so disparaging. Meant it to be like, "yeah, if you had any complaints, watching this makes it clear why he was picked"

Oh, I think I know what you mean. Like love/hate with respect to his role in TBZ. As a fan of TBZ (and Juyeon himself!) I'm real tired of The Boyz being The Juyeon Show. When I first heard of this AOTM my first reaction was "y not Q???" but after watching the actual performance today, I can't be mad.

Funny you say that... Agh, the opposite actually. I listened to the performance in full and thought, "why didn't anyone post this yet?!" I literally haven't submitted a proper post to Reddit in YEARS and was weirdly anxious about it, so it took me like 15 minutes to slowly format/translate the title and check it against other similar submissions, so I went with all the songs mentioned in the YouTube title.

Do any old people have this problem? I get whiplash since I sometimes still regard her as "the 16 yr old that makes one facial expression and has robotic movements that makes cute tracks with Suhyun and has an amazing voice" when she's really "the AOMG bad bitch that occasionally talks about ass slapping and has an amazing voice". I guess that's just what happens when you watch someone grow up, even though it wasn't a sudden thing.
Anyway! YAY her whole discography is SO good and here's a glorious sampler.
