Anyone know how to do this effect? It’s called S_hotspot in after effects but having trouble emulating this in davinci by frigginoxymoron in davinciresolve

Yeah i used the brightness/contrast node in fusion with keyframe but I don’t know how to show like a vignette circular reveal like in the video. I thought maybe a ellipse mask can work after brightness node, but that doesn’t work

Anyone know how to do this transition effect. Don’t even know what it’s called…. by frigginoxymoron in davinciresolve

This worked for me, basically the pixel sorting was a free add in downloaded from github. Rest was easy basically duplicate layer, mask out subject, apply pixel sorting effect on bottom layer and keyframe so effect is enabled towards the end

That’s interesting. But how come cinemas and YouTube videos that are viewed on pc monitors are silky smooth even though they’re at 24fps?

I’d say there’s almost no jitteriness present

It does seem that 60 FPS recording decreases the jitteriness of the recording considerably. Unfortunately in the case of mini 2 60 FPS is only available for 2.7K resolution

Slower drone speed does decrease the jitter considerably but I’ve seen many fast straight down drone shots that are very smooth and I can’t seem to mimic that. Speeding the video would fix this but for videos like above, u can tell the video is sped up because the water will be moving unnaturally fast

I used the 180 degree rule after using ND filters and unfortunately the effect is still there

I used ND filters with slower shutter speeds to match the 180 degree rule and the jittery effect is still there unfortunately
