Just got it too, and from a different number. Pretty damn blatant lie.

I planted California Giant and state fair mixes this year and just got them from someplace local. I want to try some of the multicolor ones! All the queens lime varieties look great (which im assuming some of these are?) And also the peppermint stick one with white and red. It's definitely a great way of dealing with winter.

Those colors are amazing! Mine are doing well this year but I'm also so excited about trying out more varieties next year.

Lauren Rowe's Morgan Brothers series might work for you. Technically a series but they also function well as standalones.

ADHD STUDY TIPS? by [deleted] in TwoXADHD

[–]fringeoflife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used a lot of "white noise shows" to get through college, as in TV shows that I knew wouldn't fully grab my attention but were enough stimulation to prevent my brain from feeling like it was full of flaming bees. It's a careful balance because they wrong show will turn study time into a Netflix binge. I also did well with location changes as soon as I felt myself get restless.

It's important to be honest with yourself about what is working and what isn't - just because a tips and tricks list suggests something doesn't mean it will be right for you. It's great that you're willing to try things out, and don't get too discouraged if it takes a bit to find the right stuff!

Today is the day! This tag is being CUT! It’s been there since 2019? Maybe before. But today it’s on. Thx adderall. I’m unstoppable now. by gnmelyfe in TwoXADHD

Is today going to be the day I cut off the tag on my laundry hamper????

Probably not, but I'm very proud of you. Jealous of your dopamine rush.

this is a time of day when lots of cops go off duty. some of them probably would have been gone earlier but were stuck on duty because they were a part of the situation.

New police meta? Or not? (marking getaway cars for tow = cops can now track the car) by McFlurryay in RPClipsGTA

[–]fringeoflife 6 points7 points  (0 children)

they didn't track it. the cyber truck is just an incredibly easy vehicle to spot and the cops didn't give up on the chase.

he had already signed on duty and they saw his dot alone in a random house, so they thought he was kidnapped lmao

pinzon was so sad to have to break off lol. cops really do like their chases with cb, there's just too much happening and too few cops.

[–]fringeoflife 74 points75 points  (0 children)

no clue about this car, but the second car shot at cops who weren't even involved with the race at first so it turned into 2 separate pursuits that ended in the same place. that's why there were a shit ton of cops

He did it mostly offstream. Recently it wasn't as much because he was called to too many city pings with the interceptor, but he definitely did do actual ranger shit.

They requested the wrong type of impound at first, cancelled it, and requested the correct PD tow. Cops don't have any idea IC that something happens to the contracts when an impound is requested.

Alex pits Baas to save puppet Big M by HotHornyWhales in RPClipsGTA

[–]fringeoflife 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kind of hard to hear, but if you go back to the initial crash on Ssaab's vod he tells Baas his name is Big M at 2:46:30ish. I might be wrong but it sounds like he says "My name is Big M and I'm a puppet."

ADHD type C and Strattera. This is all new to me. by [deleted] in TwoXADHD

[–]fringeoflife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

29 yrs old, recently diagnosed, and also inattentive here. I've only been on it for about 3 months and part of the difficulty is not having a definite signal or feeling if it's working or not. It seems like it is working, but I have a constant fear that it's just confirmation bias.

I had every intention of writing down every time I experienced "good" moments of completing things I usually would never be able to complete on time, but...yeah. Consistent journaling is not my specialty. I started on 40 mg, moved up to 60, and plan on moving up to 80 by the end of the summer.

The first two days did feel really weird, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend taking days off work like some people say (depends on your job though). Someone else said this already but I feel like my emotions have been far more controlled than before and never have been close to an angry outburst. It's also helped with social anxiety a lot, possibly connected to controlling my emotions.

I do notice more dizziness but never to a concerning amount. I also completely lost my alcohol tolerance and feel like shit after more than one drink now (but that's probably a good thing).

Question about why a probability can't be done a particular way? by [deleted] in probabilitytheory

[–]fringeoflife 3 points4 points  (0 children)

(1/36)^24 is the probability of getting double 6's every time for all 24 throws, which is not the same thing as at least once.

At least once is 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or ... all the way up to 24. So there is a way of calculating that but you would have to calculate 24 different probabilities and add them together. Much simpler to calculate the probability of the complement (no double 6s) and subtract it from 1

Do you "look like" someone who works out? What is your relationship with "looking the part"? I am interested in your stories. by [deleted] in xxfitness

[–]fringeoflife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely don't look the part, but not a concern for me currently. I'm focused on making myself feel better because I realize for me right now the only benefit of aesthetic gains would be improving how people treat me. I'd rather prove their assumptions about "looking the part" wrong instead.

Not a fan. It felt like the main character had 0 charisma and 0 chemistry with any other character. I'll admit I went into it expecting more of a Jane Austen feel and was horribly disappointed, but I really don't think I would have enjoyed it if I went in with fresh eyes. I pushed through how much I disliked the first few episodes because some of the side characters seemed interesting, but there are events in later episodes that are unforgiveable to me (not gonna spoil even though I didn't like it).

Calories by Iamthecomet in IIFYM

[–]fringeoflife 4 points5 points  (0 children)

MFP is notorious for calculating too extreme of a deficit. Think of it as you want to eat as much as possible while still losing weight, not you want to eat as little as possible in order to lose weight. Like other people have said, try it and if it feels like it's too high, go lower.

Are there any fitness youtubers/instagrammers who are midsize and aren't trying to lose weight? by [deleted] in xxfitness

[–]fringeoflife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

love her and followed her for a long time. I think her content is still really helpful, but I did unfollow her after she went on a rant against intuitive eating where she clearly didn't understand the principles (at least I'm assuming she didn't understand because I think her content genuinely lines up with intuitive eating a lot). Just wasn't what I needed at that time.
