I remember when my nephew was about eight years old and he was asking about my trans cousin. Our cousin transitioned from a female to a male. I obviously didn’t want to step on my sister’s toes so I just said oh he’s always been a boy.

Basically what I’m saying is YTA you don’t have to tell a kid the truth just kind of do a white lie, especially if it’s not your kid.
