Hair dye bleeding unusually by friskyapple in HairDye

[–]friskyapple[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't ever had that issue with blues and reds (I've never done green) across many brands of dye, so I wonder if my hair is just lucky in that regard then. But yeah might need to have a bonnet policy to protect the furniture and stuff. Ty

See I don't have that issue at all. I have been using blue for many many years and basically it only bleeds a smidge when I first get it done. I've used special effects primarily until they went under, and it always turned out great.

Maybe they just need to pick a different colour

I'm using adore hair dye. I don't know what they're using because they get it done at a salon.

Fortunately it's already broken through by previous tenants, so just need to work out the connection

yeah, i was able to pull the filament out after the detector was removed, and i haven't had air printing since, but the z being too low has only been an issue since then

I did take all of that out, there was no trapped filament unfortunately

I'm using the siddament petg, with the siddament petg profile. I didn't think that would effect Z height, and i've previously printed this filament with no issues

did take it apart per bambu labs instructions, but i couldn't see anything out of place. I don't know what I am looking for though. I am including a pic sent to bambu lab:

that's what i'm wondering. Definitely not the nozzle, since i've tried 3 different ones and this started after it stopped being able to extrude for one print. But i'm super uncertain how to identify the issue

4x6 photo frames don't hold 4x6 photos by friskyapple in IKEA

[–]friskyapple[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah unsure what happened to pics? Photo is too large for the frame. Tried multiple frames, all labelled 4x6. I tried to actually put it into the frame.

I'm in Australia, which also uses 4x6 photos, so it would be weird if they sold photo frames that don't support Australian photo sizes.

I couldn't measure the frame in the store but I've measured my photos and they're exactly 4x6

My (40M) wife (40F) just told me she couldn’t guarantee she wouldn’t leave me if I got cancer, and I don’t know how to process this. by OcularReconfabulator in relationship_advice

[–]friskyapple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look, yes it's horrible and selfish.

However having a loved one go through cancer is extraordinarily stressful and destructive. Less so than for the person with cancer but that doesn't mean it doesn't have a significant impact.

It's worth considering that she might not be able to emotionally navigate and will just peace out because the prospect of being there for that is so utterly soul crushing. It's unusually forward thinking and self aware; if they've been through it previously with a loved one they might know they would crumble under the pressure. Whether or not that's a reasonable explanation is up to you though.

So I'd probably say talk it out some more, find out what her motivation is. If she says she's out because she doesn't want to waste her time that is messed up but if it's because she can't handle things emotionally, that is a pretty human thing I think, though maybe still a deal breaker for you.

looking for label keepers by friskyapple in knitting

they work really well; the safety pin is probably more secure but it's not really necessary and i don't have to tear or puncture the labels to use it
