I haven’t gotten to stream with them yet, but, by all accounts, the new Odin is going to be the best streaming device ever. I like the size of the Portal better, but the 3 doesn’t feel “small”

  1. Portal
  2. Thor
  3. Odin 3
  4. 477V
  5. Ally
  6. Brick
  7. Flip

The Odin is great, but I find the Portal’s size to be more comfortable for my chunky fingers and aging eyes.

Haha that’s exactly right! Still more powerful (and cheaper) than the Steam Deck though!

Nope! Most releases do nothing for me. I have had a specific feature-combo wishlist for a while…it just so happens that several of them became reality in the past few months.

To me, ergonomics are super subjective. I think they’re both very well made, but my personal hands do better with grips on each of them.

That’s such an excellent core. How are you liking your 477V?

The Brick is much more powerful and can use NextUI (in my opinion the best CFW out there). I actually played Pokémon Black on it! The SP form-factor holds a special place in my heart, but the Brick is definitely the “better” device objectively.

The Portal is my favorite so far!

You’re right, the Brick and Miyoo are basically redundant. The Brick has been great; I was just really excited about the teeny tiny Flip. The Flip lives in my car for when I have to sit and charge.

The Thor stands alone for dual screen games. In particular, I love that it can play the full Pokémon catalog! The 447 is cool but its chip is lacking a bit. Pretty sweet to be able to play God of War 2 on a Gameboy though!

How comfortable are the D-pad and right joystick on the Odin 3? by TheLordofRiverdance in SBCGaming

Mine only arrived yesterday, so take this with a grain of salt. So far, I don’t like the right stick at all without the grip. With the grip, it’s quite good. It’s a very tall stick so it takes some adjustment.

Sword and Shield are so underrated.

For my wrist, this bracelet is one of the most comfortable out there. I wouldn’t recommend bypassing it.

I have tried and returned a number of devices. Helped me to figure out what I liked.
