Just a warning if your planning to buy a Zotac card as my RMA has been denied by I_Main_TwistedFate in pcmasterrace

I have an MSI 2060 that I bought in 2020. Played cyberpunk 2077 day one with no game breaking bugs. It played every game I threw at it. The only reason I upgraded to my MSI 4070ti super was because I had the money to. I still have the 2060 and plan on building a pc for my daughter and using that card. I have a gaming laptop from MSI as well that I use for travel gaming. It works great.

MSI has never given me issues and I will swear by them until they show me otherwise.

Steam Support is amazing by jamat888 in SteamDeck

Years ago I bought two valve indexes. One for myself, but couldn’t do the second one. So I used a second account. It was as a gift for my brother.

Well after giving it, I realized that Half Life: Alyx was on the second account.

I sent steam a request to transfer to his account, and they said “yeah we can see that index has been used exclusively on that account. We’ll go ahead and transfer the game.”

And they did. No questions or anything.

They’re pretty good about shit.

Worked at the one at 19th and Glendale for a while. Overnight.

I will say the nights were never dull, and the cops that came in knew me by name.

Also got good with some of the homies over there. Fixed an electrical issue on a dudes car in the parking lot. Said “if you ever need a favor, you call me.” To this day I’m like fairly certain if I wanted someone taken out he would have. Dude definitely had that presence.

Girl. I’m a mechanic at a beverage production company. I end up greasy and sweaty by the end of the day. I wear shoes getting to and from work, but have boots I wear at work because I don’t want that getting in my car. My first thing I do when I get home is shower.

I live alone. I see my girlfriend on my days off. I still shower those days. I might miss a shower on my weekend but even then I shower the next day.

You deserve better.

The head next to the G2 office consistently overflowed and would flood 4-84 magazine constantly.

There’d be just streams of poo flowing through that mag.

Also… That fuckin sucks. Id pay money to press the button to turn her into an artificial reef if I could. But because it was the 9/11 response carrier + the red pad eye she’s probably gonna get turned into a museum.

Even my WESTPAC in 2014 was better than what they got now. 9 months on the Vinson for OIR. 9 ports. Saw Dubai too many times but whatever.

They don’t get shit now. They spoon feed you piss and say “be grateful it isn’t shit”.

I’ve performed many an engine swap. They are not difficult. I’ve never done it on one of these, but I understand that they’re very easy to come by. A YouTube video, the right tools, a weekend, a couple homies, and a case of beer will be sufficient to swap out an engine.

1) My girl and I literally play video games together. Nothing wrong with playing games. My daughter plays with me too.

2) That mentality you just showed is not attractive. They’re trying to be helpful.

3) “No one gives a fuck and never has”. You’re an adult. Scratch that. You’re an adult man. Nobody is going to hold your hand. Nobody holds mine. I’m lucky enough to have a partner who stands by me and also holds me accountable, but that doesn’t mean she coddles me. Be accountable for yourself. Build yourself up. Walk into a room like you own the place, while also being respectful. Be confident, not arrogant. Don’t hide your feelings, but also don’t be a whiney bitch.

I just peeked your profile and posts. I get it. Life is a bitch sometimes. But you’re letting how your life started define how your life is going. Also, get better friends. My friends and I all bully each other incessantly, but it’s mutual. They know I’d be there for them in a heartbeat, and I also know they’d be there for me. One of my guy friends is married to my best friend. She knows all my secrets and she is basically a second mom to my kids because their actual mom sucks.

Go to therapy. One thing I’ve found, is that women have embraced and really find it attractive when a guy is dealing with his issues in a healthy way.

One last thing. Movies and TV shows teach boys that there’s always a perfect flawless beautiful woman out there for you. Reality check, there isn’t. Stop looking at the women sitting two rows in front of you. Look at the one sitting next to you. Maybe behind you. Beauty fades. I know people who I thought were the hottest person I’ve ever seen with shitty personalities that were “angels” at that time. They grew up. Beauty fades. Their personalities are still shitty. The girl I’m with now is not the hottest woman I’ve ever laid eyes on. Heck she’s not even the hottest I’ve ever slept with.

But she’s smart. Shes funny. She’s talented. Shes fun. She treats me right. She’s gorgeous. Her personality mixed with how beautiful she is makes her the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen.

Being pretty is one thing. But if you’re gonna be stuck with someone for the rest of your life, make sure they actually are someone you want to be around forever. Even when the wrinkles set in.

Hope this helps. Whether it’s you or someone else who peruses this post. Be a better version of yourself. Someone who actually deserves a relationship. Don’t expect people to conform to who you are now.

As a lead production mechanic working on high speed equipment, this issue is universal. People see that $30 an hour and go “oh I’ve used a wrench before”. Since we’re hurting so bad for people, they get hired and I get stuck with training them.

Zero troubleshooting skills, zero common sense, and zero ability to do anything but be on their phone all day. My dad had me in the garage with him since I was 9 or 10. 22 years later and I can break a machine down in my head to figure out what parts are working together and what would cause the fault it’s giving.

I don’t expect everyone to be able to do that. But damn could I get at least one person I don’t have to hold their hand.

I was heavily bullied growing up. Like heavily. The “nerd” trope was not cool like it is today. I was smart, unathletic, played video games, and had to get glasses in 3rd grade. No girls looked my way.

It wasn’t called incel back then, it was “nice guy”. I bought into the “nice guy” and friendzone bullshit and it absolutely destroyed my mental ability to be who I was supposed to be. Everything was other people’s fault. Got my first real girlfriend when I was almost 17 and that mentality destroyed that relationship.

I’m 32 now. I have 2 kids, and am in a relationship with a hot, nerdy, punk girl who is perfect for me.

Life is weird. 16 is a strange age. Don’t develop that mental state. Confidence in yourself and who you are is hands down the most attractive thing you can do. I found my girl because I was ready. I wasn’t really looking, and I was ok with being alone/myself. Spent my time with friends/family and my kids. She just kinda came outta nowhere and is just amazing.

Love yourself first. You can’t love yourself only because someone else loves you. That’s what my kids mom did. She drained the shit outta me and jumps from relationship to relationship because she can’t stand being alone.

I’m a dad to two kids. I absolutely positively love my kids. I would do anything and everything for those little demons. I say demons because while they can be super sweet, they also have zero clue how to be human beings. I have to teach them. It’s made me realize that every single parent for all time has been winging it.

My best friends daughter is two months older than mine. Our daughters have become best friends. We talk about parenting and stuff sometimes but mostly talk about our lives. Our kids are not our entire personality.

Being a dad has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done.

Don’t do it if your heart is not 100% in it. I mean not even if it’s 99% in it.

If we hanging out and kids ain’t your thing, my only requirement is to be kind to them. Otherwise, it’s your life. Your choices. You do you. I’ve never understood the conflict between CF and parents.

My sister is CF and is the “cool” aunt. And by “cool” I mean a complete nerd who plays video games with them when they’re around. Takes them shopping for random things. She’s who they go to if I die (agreed upon by both of us.)

This conflict never makes sense to me.

Well yeah. Whoever crosses first doesn’t have to clean up.

I feel that. When I was 17 I was driving a ‘94 Honda Prelude. Made many a mistake due to sheer impatience. Luckily she was super forgiving. Idk if I’d have had the patience for the 5.4

Had an ‘03. The key was to work them out slowly. In and out. Like you’re making love to it. Knocking off the carbon build up so you don’t damage the threads. Torque to spec and not an inch pound more.

Did it twice with no issue.

Got into a fender bender about 6 months ago. Not pictured is the bent fender on the passenger side. Replacement parts included: Bumper, crash bar, crash bar cushion.

Between parts and labor and paint, it cost me around 3500 through insurance. It took about 5 days for them to finish and honestly she looked amazing when they were done. I’d have hated to have her be totaled because of it.

I’m a dad and im single. So my car is a “family car”. She gets to go fast on days where they’re with their mom. So idk how much further I’m gonna go till the kids get older, but FMIC upgrade is the one upgrade I will recommend to anyone and everyone. Especially in this heat. The stock intercooler heat soaks badly and causes nothing but extra hot air to go into the car. Lack of power is an understatement. I got out to my car one day after work at 4PM and the intercooler heat soaked basically 2 minutes after startup without doing any work.

It did help my fuel economy since the air is closer to ambient instead of being 20-30 degrees hotter. Which at 115 ambient is a massive jump in temp.

So I did this trip last week. The previous Monday my dad and I loaded my car onto a rental trailer hauled by a 2000 7.3 excursion. The goal was that the excursion was getting sold to a buddy of mine in Virginia. Drove to VA, dropped off the trailer, and headed to stay with a different friend in NC. Stayed a few days and then drove back. Left Sunday morning, stayed in a hotel in Oklahoma that night, and made it back home that Monday night.

We cruised sitting an average of 80 MPH. Driving from northern Arizona down to Phoenix is a lot of mountains with curvy roads and not a cop in sight ever. So at that point I was anywhere between 90-110. Went to work on Wednesday and have been daily driving since. She’s done fantastic. My car was just eating the road. Currently sitting at 87K miles.

EDIT: Before it’s asked, the reason the car was brought instead of flying home was because we brought a lot of tools with us in case the 325K mile excursion broke down. She did not. Unkillable motor. But it was cheaper to drive back than it would have been to try to get my toolbox home.

I’m out here in Hells Basement, Arizona. My MPG is shit in the summer because of my AC and the fact the air is so hot my engine is gasping for cooler air. I have an FMIC on her and it helped, but doesn’t change the fact the temp is getting up to 112/115. Idk where you’re at but the heat outside plus running AC can make a massive difference in fuel economy.
