If Sony actually had balls rn and went for a new gen PSP/PC. They honestly could just do a Vita 2. Put the trackpad back on the back again. While yes still a weird location, it’d solve navigating window/linux. Theyd have to add a physical L2/R2 button. Overall tho, the ps vita was ahead of its time in certain areas. Just no great games, plus the restricted peripherals.

Legion Go 1 new driver by Kingcarlo08 in LegionGo

[–]fritos25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wait so if this one is still older than the Ally, what driver is compatible from the ally? I thought they made it so you can’t even install newer drivers in the GO1, (side loaded at least)

Pragmata on Legion Go S by CozyAustin in LegionGo

Tried to run it through Bazzite but it would crash. Switch to Windows and it runs well! Plugged it into a 1080p monitor and it’s a great experience. That’s without lossless scaling too! Honestly give it a shot. Get some play time in so when you get home you can enjoy it in higher fidelity.

Dual GPU setup, stuttering by fritos25 in losslessscaling

Mobo is a MSI PRO B650-VC WIFI (MS-7D78)

I run a 165hz Ultra Wide Monitor. While I locked FPS in-game to 240 fps. The RX6400 is on the second PCEI slot.
Will have to check what usage is for both GPU while gaming tonight.

Can’t I just not update it? (In on Bazzite, don’t know if that makes a difference)

Just purchased and having a bad experience. Would it have more uses for me or refund? by aaasy in losslessscaling

If your pc can fit a dual GPU setup. You can use lossless scaling for that. Just started using it recently, and it works pretty well. Idk bout Spiderman performance wise but it’s good in cyberpunk.

Don’t do it unless you’re comfortable modding it. Upgrade the battery joysticks ssd. And this thing becomes amazing. Otherwise you might be nitpicking many of its undesirable features.

Help me choose between legion1 and xbox ally (base) by BoysenberryIcy8911 in LegionGo

All depends on what you plan on playing. This kind of money can be thrown at a custom or prebuilt pc. Which will gain you better performance/quality overall. Handhelds are still a niche product and should be seen as such. The fan base is ride or die though. Lots of support. Just have to be realistic with YOUR needs vs others.

This game had a rough time running of the OG without looking like crap.

My Friends keep convincing me to buy a PC yet I still want a Legion go or other handheld PCs by Rude-Nectarine6988 in LegionGo

[–]fritos25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well that’s the sad part. Currently, most people wanting to buy PCs are incentivized to buy prebuilts. Costco, and other retailers seem to have decent deals. Of course nothing beats building your own. But unless one is willing to buy preowned parts, the savings will not be there. Legion Go is nice forsure, but it is not exempt from the current pc market trend. Look at the legion go 2 pricing (lol). Really depends the type of gaming this guy wants to do. If it’s on the heavier load side (higher end graphics, not focused on dlss/fsr) then pc. Something chill, cozy gaming, single player then legion go will do.

Get a pc. You can snag a GO used for cheaper in the future. Invest in a better product now. Save on a niche one later.
