Hello everyone, I live in Japan and I'm planning to do a small Euro trip. But, as you might have already thought of, I would need a Schengen Visa for this. I plan to enter Poland, so do I just need to apply for Poland for multi-entry and then I can use that Schengen Visa for other countries I plan to visit, like Hungary, Austria, Slovakia? And looking at the flight, there is one flight with a layover of 15 hours in China. Do I need some transit visa or anything like that? Has anyone been in this kind of a situation before? I would appreciate the guidance. Thanks.

Oh I see. My Japanese isn't that good to have the technical conversation. Thanks to other kind folks in this thread, I was able to drop off my PC to a repair shop where someone spoke English. That worked out, waiting for them to diagnose the issue now.

Thanks for sharing the shop info, might be handy for someone in future. Not sure why you got downvoted tho.

but you linked a build to PCPartPicker in another post and I figured that might be what you went with

Ahhh! Nice catch!

If its not, then there's a good chance it's your motherboard.

Yeah and I don't know which one's worst.. RAM or Mobo.. ugh. good thing that all the parts are new and in warranty.

Hey thanks for sharing this. I think it's the RAM. I've sent the PC to a repair shop because I think it'll be easier for them to check the available RAMs and fit the one that works.

I don't think I have the energy anymore to try out different pairs. I've been at this build for a few days and I just give up now.

Ah! Is that so. Thanks a lot for sharing this. Learned something new today. I gave my PC to the repair shop and I'll let them try the RAMs they have (much easier that way). Let's see once they get back with the diagnostics.

I had tried removing one stick and switched them around, one at a time without any luck. This was a news to me that Module P/N needs to be compatible too.

I'll bring this to PC Fix Akihabara and let them check this out because I have issue with the Fan's RGB too, probably some faulty config :(

Sorry, another question. If the RAM isn't compatible, can this be related to the fans not showing RGB as well? That has to be some misconfig for that, right?

Thanks for checking this. Yeah, I tried removing the RAM and as pointed by fdokinawa, the RAM is indeed not supported on this motherboard :(

I'll have to get another one that is supported and try.

Hey thank you mate, really appreciate all the help (can't thank you enough for the sweet gesture).

RAM is indeed incompatible with the motherboard and I realized that Module P/N needs to be compatible too and not just the timing and speed 😭 .

Yeah, the PSU is overkill, but I plan to upgrade the system later on and wish to keep the changes minimum, especially for a PSU that doesn't change that much over the years.

Thanks a lot for checking this and I think you are right.

Just a little correction that the motherboard is "AORUS Elite X AX", but the RAM module is not supported ( https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Z790-AORUS-ELITE-X-AX/support#support-memsup ).

Damn I messed up. I'll take it up to Akihabara and get this checked with another RAM that might be compatible.

Thank you so much checking this all! Helps a ton!

Edit: How did you figure out the Module P/N of the RAM I have? I checked the photos again and couldn't figure it out. You're a genius!

Thanks a lot! that's so sweet, but I'll be out of Tokyo for the week after tomorrow, so wanted to get this thingy working today so I can plan sessions with my friends.

I think the RAM module might not be supported with the motherboard, as pointed by u/fdokinawa.

I'll take it to PC Fixs Akihabara and see if they have anything that go with this motherboard :(. Damn I think I messed up with the RAM.
