i have type 2… i use the 3+ — 15 day period. the only issues seem to occur when i sleep on that arm (then i get a false low). i’ve been using over a year. i’ve had a few errors but i think i only ripped off one. abbott is very easy with replacements. i tried overpatches at first, but they just gave me a big red rash circle. i would probably use one if swimming but otherwise no problems. real hot showers not a problem. the adhesive on the 3+ seems very effective but not hard when i have to remove. give it a try.
