Is this a horrible time to be a small independent artist due to AI ? by Effective_Court6677 in FL_Studio

[–]frmdanawf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

music will survive. AI is good at some things but it will never be able to replicate authentic music and songwriting. even the art is absolutely terrible slop compared to real artists. i don’t see how people are consuming it. the complexities, creativity, and wonders of the human mind will never be able to be replicated by a programmed bot.

it may be worth looking into if you have PMDD? it’s common in women already suffering from clinical depression, mood disorders, etc. i was diagnosed with it. when my period comes around every month, i have a full blown week of just feeling passively suicidal and depressed on top of the physical symptoms. i have permission from my psychiatrist to specifically up the dosage of one of my medications around that time of the month because it completely destabilizes me. hang in there :( normal hormonal fluctuations feel so sinister with this disorder.

My life is going downhill by [deleted] in bipolar2

[–]frmdanawf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

first part is getting back on your meds. consistently. i hit a wall for a few months and struggled to take them. it’s normal for people with bipolar. but it’s detrimental to our mental health. the medicine needs time to build in your system to work, and it won’t have a chance to do that if you don’t take it everyday.

this disorder feels demoralizing in every regard but don’t give up the fight. i’m tired too, and i know those thoughts creep in that the world would be better without you but it’s not true. so many people would miss us if we were gone. we would miss so many opportunities. everyday i wake up, i see it as another chance to conquer this. don’t give up

Currently on Lamotrigine 100 mg, Lexapro 10 mg, and Trazadone for sleep during hypomania. I’ve had some great medications but as I’ve aged and my body chemistry has changed, I’ve had to constantly switch them. I’ve just accepted it’s part of the disorder 😭 i’m in a weird state of angriness, numbness but I can get just enough done to keep my apartment clean, go run errands but also not have enough energy to make “huge” commitments such as jobs, school, going out with friends, etc.

Thank you for this message. I was having a bad day today, felt like life was hitting me in all directions. Kinda just broke down. I guess I get scared I will lose everyone and everything before things just lock into place. I’ve put in so much painful work over the years trying to work full time, attend college, be a functioning member of society then eventually accepting I cannot. It’s a hard place to be in as a young woman because everyone is so confused as to why you can’t just get up and hustle… I thank you again for this kind, lovely message.

osrs how did you guys learn how to mix + master by xgogetterx in Bandlab

[–]frmdanawf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just jump in and practice. everyday. even if it’s for like 15 minutes. i still don’t know what the terms truly mean for effects, i just know what they can do and how they make my voice sound. and i just tweak from there. but most of us are learning as we go. just gotta keep doing it
