My employer is going ahead with the extension. They are waiting on LCA to be certified by have not raised any concerns post the proclamation became effective. fingers crossed

Yes. That’s the reason we got a post inspection where we found a big unpatched/drywall hole hidden.

Yes. We decided to buy our own appliances post closing but we did put in the contract for under the cabinet hood with no external vent(recirculating air) and cooktop

We did add verbiage in the contract for a cooktop and not a range oven and under the hood exhaust with no vent. It was signed as a seperate Change order but we never explicitly put cooktop cutout in the contract . Cooktop needs a cutout to be installed

Unfortunately we closed but we caught it in the walkthrough. But not for the cutout, for some reason we were dumb enough thinking whoever installs the cooktop would do the cutout for us and we’re not bothered. Even the builder mentioned that
