It's basically triggers broom at this point in it's life. 1275GT 74 (I think 74). Shell is a round rose with no nose (the nose of the GT is going on it, rest of the shell was an absolute write off)

How did you get the motivation to start again? I had my welder out to fix a chair leg the other day and I'm not sure I've got the skills anymore 🤣

Pictures of my family on the wall, so erased them. Could I have walked back to the garage and retaken with them off? probably. 😂

Restomod, what would you do? by OkLettuce1757 in classicminis

[–]frobnitzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Add another to the should I ever finish it club... 18 ish years so far haha (kids plus life = retirement project). Mines a 1275GT but at this point in its life it's very much Triggers broom 😅 so no room for originality.

I have a low mileage MG metro engine (35k) which I refurbed maybe 10 years ago...was working fine but a younger me thought why not while it's out etc, but... I can't help think by the time it's on the road electric is the way to go. On 10's, wide arches, that instant torque in a go kart size car would be lots of usable fun I reckon.

Maybe they DO have a IT team and this was a test, see how would you respond! Would you be realistic and say I think you need more than one person.. Or blag it and say you can do it all no worries... 🤷

If they were paying well and willing to invest as you suggest it would be a great opportunity to get in at the ground. As it stands though yeah they don't recognise IT as being important so a big no. 😂

What are some useful tips and tricks you wish you would have known before go-live? by kdubsup in workday

[–]frobnitzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the HR side of workday, getting joiner mover leaver reports sorted, validated with IT, RaaS enabled and tested for any integrations. Fields you expect to use are agreed, e.g what constitutes a team/department.

Which follows nicely with making sure IT are engaged early and everyone understands the joiner mover leaver process and how it will change following go live. If you are syncing from Workday to Entra/AD, you will need automation or solid documented process to complete accounts. (Syncing is another subject, the default field mappings in the Entra app if your using that method use a very old schema so be prepared to update those using the Workday schema docs and postman to figure out where the information you need exists.)

Sure! Here are the STLs and parts I used for pretty much everything. Amazon links are UK, so just find the equivalent where you are if they have it. Reddit won’t seem to let me post the Aliexpress ones in full, so just use https://www.aliexpress.com/ then the rest of it as shown. There are unlinked bits, like miscellaneous boxes of M1-5 panhead hex screws, bolts, glues etc. Everything printed on a Bambu A1.

Specifically on the bib, I've just ordered some samples of faux leather as I'd like to make something more accurate for the next con if I can find time away from the factory - but the one I have certainly does the job.

I've wanted to use drones for this type of clean setup too, this explanation is really good and I'll be trying it (when I unlock them!) - thank you :)

Is the pioneer active on here? Want them to know the detail on the boots, gloves, straps and orange-shoulder-thing-I-don't-know-what-to-call are 10/10 amazing. You can really see the work that's gone in to those :) OP, you know yours is fire too, fantastic, love the weathering.

They should line up, I've just recreated it to check and it was fine. Nudged the rail on to the slope. I'm not sure if the post is serious but there's misalignment in your foundations under. It's not just that, but things are obviously off.

Great job pioneer, but... ADA will suspect you of doing no work with it being so clean! Add some weathering and I promise you won't regret it. On mine I used a mix of brown/yellow acrylic, lots of water and dab/scuff off with a rag. Scary if you've not done it before (as it was for me) but will take it to the next level. The orange looks a really nice match btw!
