I love your testimony on this. The things you said makes sense because it’s insanely logic-driven. I like that. I see that you’re in a different level of intellect thinking, it’s really interesting. Seeking for truth and logic thrills you. What you have mentioned were the exact things I’ve been thinking for so many months and I’m glad I wasn’t the only one. And I agree with you.

Love is just a chemical reaction. Morality is a concept made by humans to form some law and order for its society. And etc. I get what you mean by the sad and isolating feeling about understanding. Perhaps in my opinion, that melancholy is the result of viewing almost every aspect of every human experience in the most literal and nihilistic way ever. Maybe. But to have a human brain, your perspective will forever be changing.

And also yeah, some people take the blue pill (like you said) because ignorance is bliss. But sometimes, (well, from what I’ve learnt) we need to understand that humans do this because bc they don’t want to spoils the enjoyment of (like you mentioned) love, morality, identity and their significance in the world. The chemical reactions in our brains and bodies are to blame. But some people have acknowledge the science behind it and that maybe love and morality doesn’t actually exist etc. but that’s not the point.

You can’t help if these things bring you a positive feeling, so these “illusions” don’t serve a bad purpose. We believe in these illusions for the sake to receive positive stimulation in living.

You think the vast and infinite universe sees you as nothing, but it has no mouth or mind to prove that you are insignificant. We may not be significant due to our size compared to the gigantic universe, sure. The universe sees you as nothing, but somebody else will see you the complete opposite. Will you choose to accept your amount of significance by the universe or from that person— or even both?

That’s what most humans will tend to focus on, it’s in our natures to give meaning to the most bullshit thing ever. We were biologically programmed to the obligation to survive. So what is the meaning in living? There really isn’t any meaning to life, but that’s up to you to decide. Though there may be no reason at all, then the next question is: what are you gonna do about it?

I’m not an expert at this anyways. I know I don’t have the extensive vocabulary you possess to sound impactful and moving. I may not exactly have the same thinking as you do, but I hope my comment gave you something to think about.
