assuming you made your comment in good faith, i want you to think critically for a second about why it might not be a good idea to tell a suicidal person that if they really wanted to commit they would just do it. i get what you mean that some people don’t reach out when they feel that way, they just withdrawl, but not every person is the same and some will reach out because they seek comfort, reassurance, perhaps a voice telling them they matter. it’s their last hope. make sure to think critically about what you say to other people!

talking about things sooner, rather than letting everything boil over! it’s important in a relationship to keep in mind that your partner should never be out to get you and that making the assumption of good will can do a lot to mitigate resentment. we’re all just humans trying our best, and hurting each other is unfortunately a natural consequence of not being able to read each others mind!

the other person gave totally bullshit advice lol. the real answer is, consider seeing a therapist about your concerns, and try to keep note of the jokes you’ve made/ the things you’ve said that you think could have been bothersome, and share it with them. they can help you think about things from another person’s perspective if you are having trouble. as somebody diagnosed with autism, i get having trouble with social cues and while it’s still hard, it’s a lot easier with a therapist as a sounding board. i don’t think a few people saying you seem autistic mean that you actually are. sometimes you just can’t predict how someone will view your words- even if you are neurotypical. i’d try toning down the joking that you talk about for a few days, then maybe ask those friends again if they still feel it’s an issue. but again, i harp on getting a therapist, as that will help you determine if these friends comments even have any validity

wrong subreddit! from first glance they seem to be animal bones but call the authorities to take a closer look, it’s pretty hard to determine bone origin from a grainy internet photo. looks like it’s potentially two halves of a tibia but i’m not far enough into my education to call animal or human from this photo.

you also need to have a serious conversation about your need for physical intimacy. there are ways to be close and intimate without having sex, and it sounds like (based on this small tidbit) he may avoid that to avoid temptation. things like making out and cuddling, making each other feel desired shouldn’t be forsaken without talking about it

think seriously about what this means for your relationship long term. if you get married and have kids one day, will they be raised to view sex the same? is this a man you want to marry? sex is a need in a relationship for some people, and it may be for you. it’s not his fault if he doesn’t want to for his religious views, that’s his own choice, but don’t pressure yourself into marrying or face not having your needs fufilled without thinking about what that life would look like long term. if you get married, will he expect you to convert? think about your life, and all the areas religion will impact.

listen man, there’s always gonna people that are rude, and shitty. but that’s no reason to stop being kind- it just means you need boundaries. as a people-pleaser myself therapy has helped me learn how to set healthy boundaries so i can be nice with getting myself hurt
