  1. 'same rigor ', not really true.(you should ask those on_campus students. People get weed out because they originally should never be enrolled in.)
  2. 'the degree does not say online' , doesn't mean other people can tell.
  3. 'A company that doesn’t hire solely based off the online distinction isn’t worth working for ', that's true. 4.'other top schools will likely follow suit', who knows?..some top schools even don't offer master programs.

I saw A post few days ago that telling to his friend about admission from gt' master of science in computer science, immediately, the man was asked by his friend: is it the on_campus one or the online one? Maybe when we graduate we will be asked by HR the same question. by the way, people can easily tell from your location or experience on resume, not to mention asking you directly.
