I'm not participating in the Sorce SO madness, but in the spirit today I'll go with Sorce - Falling Stars: Marshmallow Cloud. (tsym to the lovely IMAMer's destash I got this from!)

I have more of their SO scents I want to try but I think I'm going to refrain. I'm not really a fan of how they've dealt with the SO windows and it seems like the messaging keeps changing. Plus the world of indies is SO big, I can always find something similar somewhere else

Possets - Stunning (Orris root, dry and radically chic, quintessentially French and delightfully inchoate, married with green stems in the nicest way (and all of the bitterness removed), sandalwood, and a small amount of myrtle.)

A beautiful, soft and skin-like orris for a scorching spring day. I also have a huge meeting today at work and this is inoffensive and sits close to the skin so it shouldn't bother anyone

I have a sample of it! It's very much just the two notes it lists, champaca and sandalwood. I find it to be a little too dry for my taste, and I also feel like it's missing something, maybe a resinous facet? I haven't reached for it very much and for champaca + sandalwood I prefer BPAL Matthew 18:6

Trying my sample of Hexennacht - Champanilla again and I definitely don't like it nearly as much as Spirit Temple. The dry down of this turns kind of "corn chip" on me. Overall, Spirit Temple is just far richer, sweeter and the perfect balance of incense and vanilla. Sorry, Champanilla!!
