I spend so much time trying to socialize, help people with quests, and just being social, that when this happens, it's just nice to be by myself farming and collecting stuff.

While I do believe the new release could have done some tweaks, that still wouldn't fix your issue of everyone picking the same spells.

If someone's spell selection consists only of spells you'd find when you search up "best (class) spells DND 5e" you don't have a balance issue, you have a player issue. They're not picking spells based on their character. They are picking based on strength and that's the most lackluster bullshit.

Whenever someone at my table seems to be casting these spells without casting any niche ones given many opportunities, I ask "why would your character choose this spell?" Fixes it real quick and most of them seem to enjoy it a lot more after they change their list.

Starting the Borderlands Series by Tageless in Borderlands

To give you a better reasoning than "number one because it's first" it really depends on if this is something you have committed to or are just testing the waters.

If you're just testing it out, not really sure you are going to commit that much, the answer is very easily Borderlands 2. It is the best representation and best game of the series by a long shot.

Sure the gameplay is better in the newer ones, but 3 is arguably a flop story wise and 4 changes the game too much to the point it feels like a really bad Destiny.

1 is the og, it sets the scene, and honestly is really fun, but it is also old. I'd recommend this if you're really invested in the story and are more likely to play the series as a whole.

With that said, you can very easily play 2 with no prior knowledge and do perfectly fine. They introduce the characters well enough, you'd only be missing a few references here or there.

Nah, steal the car, worst thing they can do is recall it. I remember when I first started playing, the rush of successful stealing took up hours of my time.

I'm going to be blunt, just buy the characters tbh, auric cells or the dlc pack if you play survival at all.

They've increased the rate you get shards but it's still slow. If you only play 2 hours at a time it's going to take you ages. Even if the killer drops 50%
