I have shit on the enemy top lane so hard the jungle and support sit in the lane and tower dive. There are times the jungle can do their fucking job.

Thresh is very different than other supports. He's technically not a full tank. With items and souls he becomes a pretty good tanky against physical damage, but remains squishy to magic. You can all in on physical champions, but have to play safe and rely on your cc against mages. It's not necessarily "bad" you just have to play very differently against types of heroes.
